Except that's not how dragons' aging works. It works by Age Category. So long as we're much bigger than them, which we are, they'll tend to think of us as older and more powerful.
I was mostly joking, but I do expect something about that to show up. We're the single most Haxx wyrmling in existence, whatever our magical growth hormone / sorcerer levels have done to our size.

Fortunately, they do have ancestral memories. I'm sure "older Red kills wyrmling because it was being a little shit and what's patience" is an event that features prominently in them.
Pretty sure Viserys is only 17 or so. From a draconic perspective that's only technically older than 1 1/2; it's like one twin claiming to be older because they were born a minute before the other.
They'll also have ancestral memories of Valyrians rising up against them and stripping them of their sentience.

And living examples still being ridden to this day.

I really think we should focus on Illyrio ASAP that man is NEVER going to stop fucking with us. It isn't even that we killed his pawn son. It's that as far as he is concerned everything we have he should be controlling from the shadows. He doesn't know how to stop and will be waiting to take his shot in a moment of weakness.

It is time to use Aegon's arm to find his daddy. God this thread is so macabre sometimes.

I'm against going for Illyrio starting now and next 5-6 months.

Bloodstone Emperor.
I don't want to even touch that pile of shit, and illyrio is squarely in the middle of it now.
Too dangerous and too distracting.

We keep F!Aegon's arm and use it up later, hopefully when Illyrio stops being "they are RIGHT behind me!"-paranoid and goes into his usual amount of paranoia.

Let's focus on Illithids, Efreeti and Westeros for now.

Oh, right, I forgot we managed to cut off his arm. That'll be a good anti-Illyrio tool.

In your defense...Aegon was the much bigger prize.

I hate loose ends. At the very least I want to try to use a bit of Tiamat's stolen power to find the shadow and nightmare dragon. Those two are dangerous.

Both Viserys magical power and his hoard size are more in the Elder Wyrm territory.

... so I found something that I think might be worth researching, but seems kind of wasteful in its current form. Plunder Power would be a great way to get esoteric abilities (and mainstay like greater teleport) for minion use, but it has issues.

Is the ability to make items of 1/day of any ability we can harvest from an outsider worth the PC time and effort? They only last 1 day/CL, but depending on the ability that could be worthwhile. If nothing else, cheap greater teleport items could be made by batch out of devils.

Thoughts?

edit: actually, let's use Babau. Everyone hates Babau, and they have greater teleport.

We've discussed this one once or twice before. It's interesting, and I could see if being useful in some rare situations, but I think it's generally better to make our sacrifices to allies powers who can use them more efficiently.

Permanency for a 7th level spell should be 3,500 IM, which means for 4,000 IM, we could make a permanent Bloodstone. Pricey, but could be worth it. Especially Greater Teleport ones could be useful in a lot of circumstances.

The sacrifice itself doesn't need to be all that powerful if we only want some utility stuff. Low-level fiends are enough to make Greater Telepeort (Self + 50lb.) Bloodstone and if the Commune of Imps and Quasits can be re-targeted to, say, Yss, then we can mulch minor pests for them.

Reminder here that the Imperium is sufficiently large that regular Teleport is running into significant range issues when you traverse it. Especially the Basilisk Isles need a fairly high-level caster or Greater Teleport to reach by magic. Having some means to get said ability for lower level minions would be worthwhile, especially as an actual item of Greater Teleport 1/day would take significant amounts of crafting time.

Permanence would be more cost effective in the long run, but we could get decent use out of the regular run of the spell.

Just using Nalfeshnee and Babau we could have our pick of greater teleport, greater dispel magic, call lightning, and feeble mind (plus a few less useful spells) that absolutely anyone could use.

An emergency dispel that hits like a CR 14 demon coming from a level 3 rogue could really ruin someone's day.

Filling out some orders once every 20 days, or over a weekend before a big operation starts, wouldn't be too big a strain on the schedule.

edit: wait, I've missed something. Yss is the only god with a sleep mechanic (that I recall anyway). While he is best god, and should remain the fattest member of the pantheon, the Merling King might also be interested in some business.

Gods can already do this whole creature to persistent magic effect thing, so maybe we could ask MK to take convert devils or demons into permanent bloodstone equivalents.

Even with a per month limit we'd almost certainly never meet demand. Hell, we might even be able to nurse storm-grandpa back to life with a heaping helping of Nelfeshnee-to-call-lightning transactions.
