I'm mostly worried by her confidence. She just watched us assault a fortified position and fight a divine avatar, all that in less than five minutes. She sees all this and isn't worried we'll just kill her and her Emperor if she annoys us?

Either she's bluffing like a boss, or she has some serious sorcerous clout of her sleeve (probably a few high-level people and a pile of kami of various CRs).
She's almost certainly strong, but still something we'd be able to handle if push came to shove. It's not for nothing that they weren't the ones to wipe out the Golden Company.

Ah, this is going to be one of those times where we do both. We have enough people here who can cast Brain Spider and Speak with the Dead that we can conduct multiple simultaneous interrogations.

What questions should we ask?

-[X] Agree to meet with Lady Xue herself at a time of our choosing before the end of the month.
"We will speak again on the morrow in this camp, or what remains of it," she concludes.
I see we allowed her to dictate the time after all. :V

I actually got the impression that she might be somewhat intimidated by the weight of the power being thrown around, and asserting herself is a coping mechanism.

This is Yi Ti. Even if they had no way whatsoever to contest us, they would rather die than fail to keep appearances. Specially since failing to act like she has everything under control would at the very least get her fired.

I hope the dragon is a proactive enemy and manages to get as many sacrifices to Tiamat as possible.
...While I generally understand the intent behind this statement, it is very weird to read without proper context to your opinion on the enemies, encounters, and such.
:/

To be fair, if we hadn't had the Worm and the Well I would have been far more cautious in attacking the GC. The ability to summon a stupidly high CR avatar is nothing to sneeze at.

Smart enemies define the setting. It's always disappointing when an enemy that by all rights should be smart flubs their attacks against us because of something as stupid as a failed wisdom roll. This dragon is definitely one of the smarter enemies, and he's in the perfect position to go full terrorist.

If we didn't have the well, we'd probably have resorted to hiring the CR 30 Yss Avatar for help.

The smart play for that Shadow Dragon is to go to ground, run the hell away, then hide somewhere on the Shadow Plane.

Are we going to recruit the captured nightmare dragon, or do super special tree/snake stuff with all the draconic hd and cr we just got? Speed up our kobold project?

I am the worst at planning of those who follow the quest here, but even I expect deadly contingencies from Tiamat in either option.

Preliminary plan. What other questions should we ask?

[X] Plan Delegation
-[X] Teana places Aegon in a Smoky Confinement bottle using a spell scroll, if he hasn't already been and Viserys stores the bottle in his cloak.
-[X] Interrogate prisoners
--[X] Tyene and Malarys will interrogate the living prisoners using Brain Spider spells.
--[X] Viserys will Teleport back to Sorcerer's Deep with Richard, Teana, a Mind Dragon, and the Seeker. Once there, they will relocate to the Divination-proof room in the Shadow Tower, divest Aegon of all of his gear and any remaining warding spells or contingencies, then Feeblemind him and use a Greater Bestow Curse to reduce his Wisdom attribute to 1 before plundering his mind with a Brain Spider spell.
-[X] Question the dead by magic
--[X] Dany and Lya will questions the dead using Speak with Dead spells duplicated using Inspired Spell.
-[X] Questions will be focused on learning:
--[X] What, if any, contingencies the Golden Company and Tiamat may have put in place to go into effect in the event of their defeat, destruction, or merely as acts of spit.
--[X] What hiding places, safe houses, bolt holes, and hidden resource caches they know of? In conjunction with this, where might we find any prominent members of the Golden Company or servants of Tiamat who escaped?
--[X] The identities of any collaborators or otherwise compromised individuals (blackmailed, enchanted, etc) working for the Golden Company or Tiamat, especially those in Westeros or western Essos.
--[X] Any plots which may be underway in other locales.
--[X] The full capabilities of the Prismatic Drakes loaned to the Golden Company by Tiamat, including their weaknesses, standard equipment, riders, etc.
--[X] Any additional information they can give us on the surviving Dragons who fled the battle, especially Lizzirith.

He's a warlock with Tiamat's brand on his soul. He has to appease her somehow

Good night guys, see you tomorrow with XP, loot and battle results.
Oh well, there goes the hope of him being sensible and surenderring immediately upon arrival.

Ah, fuck it, I suppose the "I don't really care"-attitude served me really well throughout this ark, so if that's the way to not worry...
Whatever, I dont care what he does to SD.

If we catch him, we are soul-killing though, I don't want to waste Lya-time on cutting Timmie's power that isnt even a Mindblank like the Reds have.

@Goldfish, can a dead body be affected by spells to learn shit from them if we Timestop?

What about the leader of the Golden Company and Red Rolly? Also Illyrio?

...We should probably go and Miracle ourselves the pieces of bodies of Mindblanked people from their tents/rooms, like someone suggested, after the immediate hunt is over.

See @egoo, you have all kinds of elaborate ideas, but I have no idea where the heck you dig them up.

The main problem with Mindblank originating from Hell, the Abyss, some rando adjacent Fiend or a Dark God, is they almost certainly have some reverse scrying focus associated with them so long as the Deity/devout follower is channeling that Power's energy to do it.

Or really, all high powered magic items typically having some kind of monkey's paw or curse associated with it that makes it worse than useless to all but the original owners (or useful for damning whoever loots it down the road).

And finally, the most out there part about these random unsubstantiated statements is--what gives you the impression Lya can "carve away" a constant spell effect that is not even an organ creating it, like most SLAs from which grafts are formed? It's a blessing, not an innate ability. Due to Tiamat's Domains in particular, it's one which can be rescinded at any time.

All of that, for Warlock powers. What a bad deal.

Unless it's the real cool epic warlock powers? Shadowmaster would be pretty damn thematic for an Ancient Shadow Dragon Warlock, isn't that Shades at will? WotC site is down.
A Shadow Dragon can get a lot of use from the Darkness invocation and one of the Drow feats that lets them use it as an immediate action. Then add in one or two more levels for +6 to some skills, and it's a nice dip for a Dragon that doesn't expect to level much due to huge ECL.
It's obviously not worth serving Tiamat, but nothing is.

Best case for getting anything useful from that Dragon is to feed it to Yss.

And no, when we're under the effects of a Time Stop everything is utterly immune to anything we could try to do to it, including using Speak with Death on a corpse.

Added a question about where we might find prominent GC members and Tiamat servants who escaped. It probably won't net us much, but it doesn't hurt to be thorough.
