Pain stabs behind your eyes as though someone had driven a ghostly dagger though your skull. There is is no blood, no lasting harm, but you cannot quite remember the spell. It is only then that you see the shard of dragonglass floating in Old Griff's hand beautiful and deadly, magic without spellcraft, only will and skill built layer upon careful layer.

Can we send Varys to break this?

Then we can try to Time Stop again!

That's very likely going to bounce back in our face.

How likely is a high level cleric to have FoM up?
If he manages to Spell Turn the Stun Ray, Viserys can block it with Wings of Cover. I'm leaving his actions open for just that eventuality.

I swapped Chains of Light for Lucent Lance. If he Spell Turns that, Dany is Immune to Blindness and can tank the damage.

Calling it now : they're going to whip a Mirror of Opposition out of a bag of holding. We're going to hate it.
I really, really hate Mirrors of Opposition. I hope this isn't something DP uses.

They're ridiculously powerful and incredibly underpriced for the effect.

EDIT: Using a Mirror of Opposition in a D&D campaign is a cheap and unimaginative way for a DM to fuck with their players, and DP is better than that.

:thonk:

*searches 'Mirror of Opposition' in D20pfsrd*

*reads*

...if a creature sees its reflection in the mirror's surface, an exact duplicate of that creature comes into being. This opposite immediately attacks the original. The duplicate has all the possessions and powers of its original (including magic). Upon the defeat or destruction of either the duplicate or the original, the duplicate and its items disappear completely. The mirror functions up to four times per day...

...Hello?! What the fuck is this bullshit? This is basically the epitome of 'your QM hates you, ye ded'. Yeah, noooo thanks. We need to cut their limbs the moment we can't see where their grubby little hands went.

Wow, whew boy. I've been reading Mother of Learning for a while now. Sad and happy to see it end.

I can honestly see Viserys trying to recruit Nega-Viserys, and vice versa... what is more great than one Viserys? TWO! Two Viserys'!

Together they would be unstoppable.

They will give each other an epic speech?

Viserys: "Hmm, to think that I would encounter a being such as you..."

F!Viserys: "Indeed, such platinum locks, such immaculate visage, and such an imposing figure."

Viserys: "Oh? Were it from any other, I would've think of thy words were filled with meanings laced with desire. But upon seeing your glistening scale, your wide wings and gleaming eyes, why I would undoubtedly appreciate such a look."

F!Viserys: "Truer words have nerver been said. It is only natural for somone to compliment beautiful things. And you are quite dashing yourself."

Viserys: "My, my. In that case, you also do look quite dazzling yourself. Almost akin to a star, nay a Sun. Glorious in it's incandescence."

Lya: "I am in danger."

So independent of anything else when I got to the part of that update where DP mentioned Sandor I literally yelled out "POCKET SAND" like it was King of the Hill.

Also.
