@Goldfish, we should go to capture. The GC has high-level clerics, a ton of money, and access to extraplanar markets. They absolutely can raise their people from the dead, and probably either have ways to do so without having their corpse on hand or instead keep bits of their bodies in a lead-lined box on the Shadow Fortress just in case.
Resurrection magic doesn't work like that. You have to have a piece of the remains from the slain body, not a piece removed earlier.

No, seriously, there are RAW ways to count as being in two places at once and this setting uses thaumaturgical physical links, so I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if these rather paranoid people had a countermeasure. A basic ritual to recreate someone's body if you have a vial of their blood, something like that.

I don't want to attack the townhouse directly, at least not those inside of it. That place is probably already set up for an ambush.

I think we should Wild Arcana a Teleport Trap on to the house and the surrounding area, then Miracle an Earthquake spell on the house. That should force everyone out of the house ASAP, hopefully with most of them choosing to Teleport. It has the added bonus of seeming like the wrath of the Kamis.

You know, they pay these guys like 100,000 IM a month and they can't even know that. And they have Guan Xi, who's the nicest and I will never make Golden Empire great again. Thank you. Thank you very much. We love our country. It is so terrible and total disaster, by the way.

She and Bu Gai was given coronation. I think it is number one, but why take a chance?

One of the all-time best-selling, all-time — and I mean this so, so strongly, on the right of every state.

In 7993, weeks after this unprecedented effort, it was a net worth – and this heat and everything's doing badly but we're gonna redo those trade deals. But I actually thought the deal he's making it to the game. I mean, he's doing. We're leading it. I mean give me a break. Everything else – but these are minor details — Valyria has since the Doom. So important. They have no choice. They saw that I was right to pander to you about where their earliest endorse me is very important election coming up. We have to repel the foreigners, I mean, it's been amazing to have fun doing it.

Number two, I'm actually I am. I think I was the grand marshal of the 41st Yellow Emperor and to the entire region.

Meanwhile, every single one of them, boy, we're going to make the country, and I say I can build better than Pol Qo? I build; it's what I do. I wrote "The Art of the Horse people, folks, let's go.

Let me be clear: An agreement with Leng where if somebody just said, the Jade Sea Partnership with our allies in the region.

Qarth is a problem in Moraq, a problem is and I say it all the time.

And I love them.

The problem if we don't get tough, and if I win, I would totally succeed in:

creating jobs;

defeating Golden Company and many other places never respects us. You know, Tiamat is killing us? They're going make it impossible to do business with Asshai."

Western does business book of all time great.

First, Our Resources Are Overextended

Azure Emperor gutted our military that needs equipment all over the country. The reports on bridges and they're great place – the Examinations of Yin – hardest school to get into. Even then it was was a slaughter, Pol Ning, is about to have there. Little Magistrate do exactly as they want education to a local level. The people in this room. I love Qarth. I love Qarth.
And now I imagine a fusion between The Orange and Joffrey.

What has science done?

I asked long ago, and DP said it wasn't possible. Otherwise, Viserys and everyone else important to us would have a flesh, hair, and blood sample hidden away for emergencies.

Viserys: "I see your treachery and raise you a pissed off Emperor, an ambush by a Mythic level Red Dragon Sorcerer, and every superpowered asshole he's managed to scrape, steal, build, and equip over years of adventure and smashing his head against things above his weight class."

I honestly am of the opinion that we can utterly wreck Aegon and his group. And by we I mean us and our superpower army. Dragons and all. If it wasn't for our victory conditions we could have dealt with him and his army.

We can only hope we find enough personal items and/or blood/flakes of skin/hairs post-battle (via Miracle to gather such as well) to target any escapees.
Since, well, there are likely to be such.

I think our focus definitely should be on F!Aegon, clerics, and whatever's in Shadow Fortress.

Mages are less of a threat on cult-springing front than clerics, they are just assholes it seems, not Tiamat's assholes.

Personally I think the general OCD of the thread is incapable of accepting that there is no such thing as a perfect plan and all of this should have been already wrapped up with an attack on the main objectives (which are Faegon and through him Tiamat).

There's no realistic way to catch everyone with a Mindblank, unless you assume everyone is an idiot and will never retreat.

Plan updated to include an attempt to hedge out the mages involved in this and capture them.

[X] Plan Let's Do Both
-[X] Instruct Tyene to use a Sending to warn Pol Ning
--[X] She must flee with all due haste, disguising herself magically and physically. She has been framed as a traitor. Meet us where we first spoke.
-[X] Use Miracle to try to awaken a kami the the peril that is transpiring
--[X] Ask the awakened Kami to inform Pol Qo and Lady Xue of the Golden Company's plot to implicate Pol Ning as a traitor as part of their plans to weaken Trader Town in preparation for an attack.
-[X] Immediately move to place a Teleport Trap spell on the townhouse and surrounding area (both above and below ground) using Wild Arcana as a Standard Action, then use Miracle to Target the ground the townhouse rests upon with an Earthquake spell.
--[X] Place the destination of the Teleport Trap in as isolated a location as we can locate within range and prepare to deal with anyone caught by the effect. If possible, Teana will place a Mirage Arcana spell to disguise or obscure the area from casual passers-by while everyone else prepares.

True. :( At this point we've just got to spread the net as wide as we can and kill whichever ones we can get while hunting the others.

There is a reason I mostly removed myself from participation right now.

If all I can offer is autistic screeching, it is obviously counter-productive to having anything done.

I'd like you guys to try and get all the targets you can, but if ya can't, at least make an effort to grab the Mindblank-piercing essentials like hairs/skin, pls.

I think most of us just really sincerely do not want magical Al Qaeda.

And the plot is screaming: "TOO BAD! YOU GET A TERROR ATTACK! YOU GET A BIO-WEAPON EXPOSURE! YOU GET A DESTROYED PUBLIC SPACE!"

There are half a dozen other factions that could do the same, yet none if them do.

Evidence thus is clearly in favour of this not being an issue.

Law of narrative. If anyone will do it, it is the ones we deliberately let get away, rather than the monolithic entities working in the background which we missed through lacking information about them, with infinite minion dispensers and all the time in the world to enact their plans.

Supremely unlikely. Viserys will just arrive in the nick of time to foil the dastardly plan like always.

DP has been getting a lot better about that, honestly. Often when we appear in the nick of time, it's justified IC with things like "they're undead repeating the same motions over and over" or "it's the Dreamlands" or even once or twice "there's a Goddess of Fate making it happen".

But yes, as a rule this sort of thing is weird from a Doylist perspective, even if it's justified from a Watsonian one. Let's just say it's the cost of being in a work of fiction and leave it at that.
