All I can do is keep thinking up ways to kill everyone of importance in this camp. It wouldn't be difficult. It wouldn't be fair or sporting, but so what?

[X] Continue with scouting. If possible, attempt to discern how often members of the Golden Company leave the camp via translocation magic, especially Plane Shift; when, how, and where they are going? Is there a portal or other device being used to accomplish this, or are mages casting spells each time?

Yeah, it just seems like Viserys is way smarter than that. He can read between the lines better than any of us can, he's got the mental stats for it. he should be able to evaluate interpersonal relationships just based on obvious to inference details like I pointed out above.

Who would ever want to be fair or sporting? :o

Way I figure it the only way to turn most anyone in this camp would be to tell them a bunch about our plan, namely that it's all about fucking over Tiamat and Aegon gets a fair shot at surviving it. While personally loyal to Aegon, many of them certainly dislike the big lizard, because who doesn't? Even the actual dragon here probably distrusts her.

Aside from that we really don't have any angles to crack them open.

We basically keep gathering information on the Golden Company. After getting info we gonna try to get more personal info on these people to know how things are going? Whether that is just listening or disguise time is the question. If we did go for disguise what we use to not get caught exactly and out background?

Reminder here that there is little reason to assume that Aegon will be in any way amenable to a peaceful resolution.

To me it seems far more likely that he will die one way or another.

I believe the plan was to turn aegon apostate? So we could make of with her divine power?

Perhaps someone who knows him, but disapproves of Tiamat?

Peer pressure and all thst.

Either way, Aegon does have a 50% chance to survive if we actually manage to do the thing with the Well. After which he'll have no power to fight us with. In any case, the only information we have of his character kind of hints at him being a nervous wreck under the surface, presumably because he's actually put together the odds of success of the scheme that was described to him.

Yeah, after this his power base drops to zero.

We'll also be confiscating Blackfyre.

I'm still in favor of putting Aegon in a bottle and shelving him for at least a few decades. Assuming he survives, of course. And that y'all can't be convinced to feed him to Yss or the OG.

If he's actually that far gone. Can we actually just go look and see for ourselves?

Maybe? Did you get told that?
We wouldn't be banking such an important plan on Aegon's cooperation. Obviously it would be easier if he participates willingly, but if he doesn't? What then? Does our plan to strike at Tiamat fall apart?

No. Because F!Aegon is still a conduit. He doesn't need to be willing for this to work. @DragonParadox can confirm or deny but it's fairly obvious to me.

No, he doesn't need to be willing. In fact we expected even if he wasn't fully cooperative and on board with Tiamat's insanity, giving him forewarning would be too close to giving Tiamat forewarning.

SURPRISE! If it works and he survives, that's a bonus. If he dies, that's a consolation prize. We still hurt Tiamat.

We'll need to see his state of mind, allegiance, etc., once the deed is done. I don't want to poke our head into his command tent right now, though. That's a bit more hubris than I'm willing to push for. Viserys is tough and powerful, but stepping into a prepared kill zone negates a lot of that.

Need more votes, y'all.

Yeah, checking the command tent or trying to get defectors just screams GM trap.
