  • [X] Continue speaking with Tacrit
-[X] Feel out the envoy for the considerations the Emir is making, you would like to gain Kelasi as an ally, though you wouldn't want to walk into a dispute hastily nor attempt to settle it in an unsuitable manner. Gaining Kelasi's aid against your own enemies in the Deep might make it easier to build your intended coalition to entice Mardja in turn.
-[X] Make a decision after you have learned more about the situation.
--[X] Discretely make your interest in obtaining an audience sometime early next month known to the Emir of Mardja, likely through a chamberlain or something of that nature. He's very busy and you are very understanding, giving courteous felicitations to his realm and the festivities taking place.

Tangentially related , but would it be viable to mix some Bonethorns into the undead units as a surprise for anyone who tries the usual tactics against them? Even discounting the surprise factor, having to deal with random creatures mixed into an undead unit that get haste and fast healing 5 when exposed to positive energy in any capacity would be a pain.

A very neat package of abilities. Constant ensnaring and silence on its attacks, a fear aura, breath weapon, pumpkin disguise, and a death explosion, all on a CR 1 chassis. A stacked base for templates.

@Goldfish, what's the intended purpose of the Verdant Kingfisher?
They're a creation of @Deliste's, meant to serve the roll of cheap, tough, ranged attackers. I've got the Verdant Ravens on the proposed order as controller units for the Kingfishers. The idea is for 10 Kingfishers to work with a Raven, which would be partnered with others, such an a group of Inquisitors, Lawmen, or PCs.

We're also growing some slightly enhanced versions of the Shadow Cat's @Azel posted a couple months ago. They're small, unobtrusive kitties which pack a serious punch and have a nice range of abilities. They would also make great additions to a team of Inquisitors, Lawmen, etc.

The Ravens and Cats can do a lot of different stuff to make themselves useful and, unlike many of our other creations, they are less likely to draw unwanted attention.

BTW, speaking of @Deliste, has anyone heard from him lately? He's been inactive for the past couple weeks, which wouldn't normally be cause for concern, but with the wildfires in Australia I can't help but assume the worst. 😨

Speaking of the Inquisition when do we want to start on the Inquisition Armaments? I know it is on the back drop considering the priorities but they are there and seem quite potent.

Those involved a ton of research in several steps, IIRC, followed by a lot of enchanting. I don't see us having a chance to work on that stuff for a long while to come.

Can anyone remind me again on what the name of the Dragon-Elder Brain Abomination that Relath wants to kill, when back when?

Here's an updated Forge order proposal, now with less extreme numbers. We can still add other stuff, of course, and the numbers aren't set. If there is too much of one thing or not enough of another, let me know. There's also nothing under CR 6 on the list so far (at least stuff that's intended to fight the Deep Ones). I'm not sure if we want to grow a lot of low CR creatures to further pad our forces. Thoughts?

We don't have a massive corpse stockpile to offset the expense for creating several hundred CR 6 and lower creatures this time, so I've focused less on quantity and more on quality. Since we already have a significant quantity of aquatic Druid Creatures, I've added Cleric and Sorcerer creatures for increased magical diversity.

@Duesal, I've got 25 Guardian Nagas on the list now.

@JamesShazbond, there are three Aureate Sea Serpents on the list for now. Also included 25 Aquatic Jesulan, which I think you recommended?

@tarrangar, the Fire Whale guardians are at the bottom. We need to know how many Fire Whale pods there are before we can determine how many to grow.

Have I forgotten anything?

Special Forces Servitors: (this brings us to 10 Grand Dragon Turtles, 10 Mighty Mind Dragons, and 10 Seawyrms - I like nice round numbers)
Aquatic Forces:
Construct Forces:
Other Forces:
TOTAL: 1,450,200

Fire Whale Guardians:

Looks great, thank you. 👌 I think initially we can assign them to shadow the existing Guardian Nagas so they can learn about their species, and after a few months we can assign them elsewhere.

The Kobolds need to be forged. The sooner they're made the more they'll pay off later.
6 Mighty Mind Dragons (CR 15) - 28,800 IM each (Total: 144,000)
Personally I'm really happy these are Mighty rather than just making mundane Mind Dragons.

We are running out of corpses huh. We may need to Valyria some time in the future and tidy up so to speak. And by that I mean brutally murder every monster (that isn't a Hero-Killer or some template we don't have) that we see.

These Guardian Nagas won't be tied directly to Yss, but the Yssian Mages should be able to help them find their footing, no pun intended.

The numbers for the Kobolds have already been determined in Azel's plan. They can be added to the actual order plan, along with the Undead we're going to create. The

I still want to grow some regular Mind Dragons. They are extremely good for anti-Deep One operations. I'm thinking about adding at least ten to the order.

Wait. Wasn't there a research action for lightening the conditions of the Forge? I recall there being one I think
Got combined into the "restore the forge to full condition", since there was a bit of a mess with needless RAs garbaging down the list.

Yes, even more than it is right now.

It would have been weird to have Lys' forge be more efficient than Gogossos' one (and we cant even upgrade them beyond the point of the one in Gogossos is at, since that The Wall-level of bullshit efficiency Valyrians got done over the millenia), and a mess of between-forge variables for Goldfish and others to look over every time they want an order made.

Ahh okay. So it did exist but got combined. All right then. That is good. It also means that either we have to find a more efficient forge somewhere as a base or just upgrade that aspect ourselves whenever possible. Cool.

Also you are the best for maintain the sheer slew of actions we have. It is very impressive and I respect that.

Edit: Oh not that is the best it can do...oh well. At least CR 6 is gonna be fine.

I don't really mind if they want to worship Yss. Even our devout existing Nagas are excellent minions.

👌 Sounds great. I'm especially excited about the neat undead.

Eventually, but I do agree with Crake that dragons are important enough that they have to be taken slowly and evaluated on an individual basis, even comparative weak ones like Mind Dragons.

@Goldfish, there's something I'm worried about.

Last time, when the Mighty Mind Dragons were im their gestation period, Tiamat contracted them and asked them to serve her for power, wealth, etc.

Thankfully they all refused her offer. But they refused her with their own different reasons.

Free will and choices is what makes them unable to agree with Tiamat.

With this in mind (heh), what would happen if one or God-forbid some of them actually accepted her offer and either tries to kill their other siblings or be a sleeper agent for the Bitch-Whore? The latter is what scares me the most, because the Mind Dragons are a VERY valuable asset. And thus able to access some part of our Empire to see which crack hurts the most for the Bitch-Whore to strike.

What is our precautions if we are not available to put our attention to them?
