Even fully depleted, that thing should have a significant amount of LEGEND associated with it. What better to serve as a receptacle for Lya to craft into a Mythic Artifact?
The fight against Tiamath sounds like a decent candidate for Mythic rank for Dany to me.
She resists and cripples a God, and not just any God, but the one claiming Dominion over her.

She does have an irreplaceable part in the ritual.

What if it's not food but magical byproducts? Bilestone and wildmagic effected waste for example in the loosest definition wouldn't poison you, it might just mutate you.

I'm pretty sure at the core though you could make a magic poison that worked through immunity. And ingesting a poison isn't some magical proof against illness just because you can eat rock. If blood injection or inhalation would kill something eating it isn't going to be less deadly.
Eating it will be less deadly, because a dragons digestive system is special, it's more like a fusion reactor than an stomach, anything a dragon eat is rendered down to raw energy and mass.

If just touching something would kill you, then a dragon isn't protected from it by eating it, as it will touch the mouth and throat of the dragon, before getting to the stomach, but if it actually need to get to the blood or lungs of the dragon, then eating it wont poison the dragon, as before it get from the stomach to the rest of the dragon, it's going to be broken into subatomic particles and reassembled.

Eeesh. @Artemis1992, you get some of what you wanted, I guess :V
Condolences to @Duesal.

Here's my vote, @everyone.
I'm of the opinion that we should overfeed OG's here even in spite of diminishing returns -
Worst case, they'll get a buffer before them and Tiamat, when they'll be fighting her on all the fronts.

I don't think we should exceed 1080 HD on this, at least not by this much. Remember, the original cap was 270 HD.

Also, it would be better to hold back our highest CR creatures. The OG don't care about CR for sacrifices, merely total HD. We can use the high CR creatures for other stuff, like Yss snack and Fleshforging discounts.

I am in fact being 100% serious here. If it's not broken, we improve it and keep using it for this sort of Ritual. We have an awful lot more divine enemies, after all!
I wouldn't try it twice against Tiamat though. She'll probably be prepared. But the Others, if we capture one? Ymeri if we get another Herald or fire-tree? Those are fair game.

We should award her a position at the top of whatever formal regulatory body we create for normal religions, then give her the newly enchanted Well as a badge of office.

That way she'll always have a reason to wear it when interacting with divine beings, their worshippers, and servants.

It'd certainly send a message about our opinions on where gods fall relative to the law at the very least.

Edit: grammar again. I should stop posting on my phone.

@DragonParadox, repeating my earlier question - those sacrifices exceeding soft-cap would still count towards ensuring OGs get through the fighting okay, right?

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes?

Wouldn't that still count as a poison for the purposes of DND immunities/resistances?
Dragons are typically only immune to ingested poison.

We're assuming they were poisoned via their food, but it could have just as easily been some sort of heavily concentrated oil or cream that was applied directly into their nostrils which they then breathed in over long periods of time in an aerosolized form.

This discussion is making me want to burn the Citadel to the ground... but most Maesters are probably as harmless as Pycelle and maybe a quarter half as good people as Aemon (who's a really good person TBH so kind of an unfair comparison).

I can't wait until we can shut down that mess and snatch up all the decent ones for our own projects. They want to spread knowledge and enlightenment? OH FUCKING BOY do we have news for them.

And. Best news, boys? No more politics. Or else.

This takes the sentence of 'there's more than one way to skin a cat' to a WHOLE New level.

We're going to have to run the entire membership of the Citadel through a magical interrogation session, with full on Discern Lies, Zone of Truth, and Brain Spider spells running to guarantee none of the shit biscuits slip through.

@Crake @Goldfish, speaking about the Citadel...

In our previous Conquest of Essos (Tyrosh I think) some librarian retards decided that they'd rather burn the books within rather than relinquishing them to us. Upon which we Diplomanced ourselves so that their stupidity doesn't spread.

Thing is, with Westeros (ESPECIALLY with those Magic-Hating Hypocritical old men) such thing won't be thought twice. The moment that we come in knocking on Oldtown, is the moment when they're gonna try to make our victory tastes ash by burning the library.

What's our precaution against that? I wanna save those books, man!

I don't think the Maesters will burn their libraries. Those books are the heart of their order, one which has persisted for thousands of years.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't act to prevent them from destroying records, escaping with important artifacts, etc., but I am really not concerned about them torching the stacks.
