So I just got through an intense shift at the office.

You would not BELIEVE how strenuous waiting thirty minutes between phone calls can be.

Edit: Given all the hugs instead of laughs, I now feel guilty for being a sarcastic ass.

Going to go bury my yuletide out back.

[X] Attempt to learn whether or not Benedar Belmore is knowingly manipulating Alyn Surehammer into marrying his daughter on spurious claims, whether Clara is complicit, and if any others are involved in the plot.
-[X] If none of them are directly involved, attempt to learn if any others may have been making arrangements behind the scenes, or if Alyn is truly the victim of circumstance.
The Fey that wanted payback against him for resisting them set it up.

Happy holidays!

Merry Christmas.

Had the best Christmas I have had in a long time, here in Denmark we give each other presents on Christmas Eve, not Christmas morning like you English speakers do, so my story here, is about the funniest present I have ever handed out.

My dad hate Cola he can't stand the taste at all, and he has an excellent sense of humor, so when I saw they had begun to produce Colas with names on them, I knew I had to find one with his name, I threatened him that somewhere out there was a Cola with his name on it(as a parody of the whole bullet with your name on it meme) that was about 5 months ago, I found the Cola in question about 3 months ago, and I waited with giving it to him until now, I of course had talked the present up, and told him it represented how much I loved him, so it was utterly hilarious when he opened it, and saw a bottle of Cola, which I quickly showed him had his name on it.

He did genuinely appreciate the gift, he laughed a lot and took it in good humor, and was impressed with all the work it took me to find this particular Cola, as his name isn't that common, so a Cola with his name on them wasn't easy to find.

Best practical joke I have made in years, it was extremely funny to me, and everyone including the victim genuinely thought it was funny.
I did also give him some home cooked Christmas Cookies, they are called pebernødder in Danish, but as pebernødder is also what we use in our equivalent of the saying about being paid very little(being paid peanuts) I can't find what their English name is.

What's my post generating hugs for? I just told the story of the greatest joke I have played in years, even with the lacking context making it much less funny to read about, I expect funny ratings not hugs ratings.

We know the Fey were involved, but we don't know if Alyn is being deliberately railroaded into the marriage. Lord Belmore could very well know nothing happened between Alyn and his daughter, and could be taking advantage of the situation for his own political gain.

-[X] Then move on to @egoo's plan.
--[X] Now that we are nigh sure the unknown element is the Stranger's Chosen... the best way to go about it, is to wait.
--[X] We failed to recover anything we could act upon from this dead-drop due to the time that's passed since it was used. But Smith's Chosen is still not protected from Divination, and neither are the knights or his contacts. Sooner or later, someone will pick up the new supplies, and those would be far more likely to contain... anything you could use.
---[X] Have the network of contacts we Divined throughout the month continuously monitored for signs of a new dead-drop. The moment one is made, attempt reaching it and recovering whatever's possible to.
--[X] In the meantime, go and meet the cleric of the Earth Mother, discretely. We are interested in both him and his patron, for a multitude of reasons.
