[X] Both must die.
- [X] Let the Sorcerer's attack play out, then finish off whoever survives.

i still really want to set up mors somewhere far away as a new, constant, and possibly Ranaldian thorn in the side of the Council, so i will be voting hard-line for the survival of mors, up until it actively harms the Karak.

Given Belegar reaction last time we did something like this, I'm firmly against this plan. Plus we will gain the Skaven equivalent of a grudge for having took and exterminated their home base. It's safer to eliminate them if we can.

@BoneyM How about something like this:
[X] Both should die (write in)
-[X] Let the Sorcerer's attack play out, then finish off whoever survives.

So if it turns out we don't actually have a proper read on the situation, and the Eshin isn't planning to physically attack, Mat can not be pre-commited to fighting them both?

I'll approval vote the preset:
[X] Both must die.
-[X] Let the Sorcerer's attack play out, then finish off whoever survives.
Your first vote is the same as the second.

They're the Competence Clan, and the ones that actually killed all the dwarves in Eight Peaks in the past. Being able to truthfully claim that we've crushed them in the heart of their power is worth more to the dwarves than the existence of another Skaven clan that will probably only increase the numbers of dangerous warriors they have at their disposal.
Yeah and wouldnt that be nice to be pointed straight and true at the under-empire, with a new divine patron and a lust for revenge?

This was our original meeting. Notice how it doesn't ping our magesight

@BoneyM , when we say the triad, could we detect those with our magesight?

Yes.

Sure, but it should be more explicit about what Mathilde should do if the Skaven shake paws and part amiably. Go after one or scrub the entire thing?

They already pointed themselves at the Under Empire, and they lost. Look at Ratticus, or whatever their name was; they were leading a rebellion against being eaten until the council went 'we're cool guys, just give us your leader' and they switched off like a treacherous lightbulb (and then were eaten, because they were dumb).

The moment the Horned Rat goes 'stop that' they'll be immediately back under control, and burning with hatred against Eight Peaks for killing their breeders and destroying the heart of their clan.

hey @BoneyM odd question- do we have any conception of how replaceable breeders are? obviously theyre skaven theyre mostly replaceable because BIRTHRATE but like. If Eshin finds out Mors' 50 breeders are dead, will they be demoralized or just shrug it off

Since we can follow the sorcerer we should kill the councilor when they leave and are isolated while we are a doppelganger, leaving the bodyguards so eshin is implicated, then hunt down the sorcerer.
Totally easy guys i swear :>
(this being if they shake hands instead of sorcerer murdering them.)

So there's a master assassin out there as well, bugger this.

[X] Don't intervene.
- [X] Watch the attack play out, then leave.

For reference Eshin has two lord tier characters in play and three Hero tier characters. This is not something we should be risking facing alone.

- I normally avoid re-litigation, but there's enough new facts on the board that it's a lesser evil compared to locking you in to a decision you made earlier.
Lesser evils are still evils. And frankly I will be utterly amazed and astounded if we get any result that 'auto-attack' wouldn't have lead to. The 'new fact' is essentially that a high value target of opportunity carrying high value loot wondered into the area and is about to fight our original target. Why would we suddenly choose to not attack?

Got it.

-[X] If the attack proves not to be physical, let the Sorcerer leave, and attack the Council member alone. The documents must not make it out.

Logic being that we can hunt down the Eshin Sorc again. The Councilmember might just disappear in a puff of smoke. IE, leave the Karak without going back for his Clan, unlike the Sorc.

@BoneyM: Is this precise enough for not attacking if the Sorcerer doesn't attack
