Why? Becasue we have 6 of them, but they'll need an RA to de-curse into something resembling "safe to handle", and they are too niche to bother.
Nothing in the description for the Swords of the Ruin Lord indicates that they're cursed. Evil, sure, but technically all Valyrian Steel registers as evil. This is honestly a waste of some pretty damn good backup weapons.eh, I'm not using up the "easy" materials here, but some of the old and useless cursed stuf would do well to go away at last.
[X] Offer items to be broken for power.
-[X] That Which Devours (ind. CL: 18)
-[X] Cursed Prism (Ind. CL: 10)
-[X] 2 Swords of the Ruin Lord (ind. CL: 15)
-[X] Warped Dragonsteel Sword (Ind. CL: 12)
-[X] Total CL: 70
It isn't spelled out yet, no, but I've been down this road enough times to know DP will veto us if we try that.Technically, we could sacrifice items created by/for us (scrolls/potions). At least there was no restriction iirc?
If it's mostly about the power imbued in the items, it wouldn't matter. Or in the act to offer them at all.It isn't spelled out yet, no, but I've been down this road enough times to know DP will veto us if we try that.
Seriously, could we throw some potions and scrolls onto the sacrifice pile?
The argument posed to me when I was barred from similar attempts was something along the lines of, "But it's not really a sacrifice for you if you just mass-produce everything."If it's mostly about the power imbued in the items, it wouldn't matter. Or in the act to offer them at all.
Didn't we note IC that we won't use them without throughly researching first?Nothing in the description for the Swords of the Ruin Lord indicates that they're cursed. Evil, sure, but technically all Valyrian Steel registers as evil. This is honestly a waste of some pretty damn good backup weapons.
Well, then the sacrifice is about the act and the history of the item, not the item as such.I don't really agree with it, but that's what I've been told multiple times.
I'm pretty sure that was just fluff of, "Let's run this through identification first."Didn't we note IC that we won't use them without throughly researching first?
Becasue for me that would make them jsut as throughly useless.
No matter the amount of Researchers, we'll seemingly always have better projects than loot-identification :/
Eh, I like to think it's the story behind the stuff as much as the magic. The stuff we make is fresh off the Forge without so much as a fetch quest to their legend. The argument posed to me when I was barred from similar attempts was something along the lines of, "But it's not really a sacrifice for you if you just mass-produce everything."

Things evil empires mass produce on the other hand are fair game.
I don't want to sacrifice the Swords of the Ruin Lord yet, y'all. They aren't cursed and have a really neat enchantment. We have plenty of other stuff we can feed Zathir.
He meant the Swords of the Ruin Lord. They are very nice weapons.Aren't the Fire Giant Greatswords Large weapons? Who of our companions can use them without problems?
Alright, I will, no biggie.I'm pretty sure that was just fluff of, "Let's run this through identification first."
No curses were detected.
Can you just use Fire Giant Greatswords instead? Those are legitimately good backup blades, even for Companions.
Alright, I will, no biggie.
But I still need help with deciding what items we'll sacrifice for the trees now - if we are to empower Jazzirian with everything that we don't need.

Why did I bother editing, again..?
That works. If y'all want, we can go much further than that, though. We have 83 sets of +1 Efreeti armor and 83 +1 greatswords. That's a combined caster level of 830. We could part with a couple hundred CL without much trouble.Alright.

Greatswords and armor, courtesy of the Fire Giants. Each tree needs 4 pieces of enchanted gear, each piece being a total of 5 CL, to get to Tier-3 status.Alright, I will, no biggie.

Add 6 Giants Blades? Bring it to a good 133? I'd like to send a 100 to empower Zathir.Alright, I will, no biggie.
