I don't think it'll cripple her that way; the power was already separated and invested in a purpose after all. It'll probably just remove the power Viserys eats, forcing her to find a way to grow back what was lost.

I think this guy was closer to a dedication wight (or whatever Lya's craft bots are called) than her literal eyes from Ymeri's perspective.
 
Mind gets no love. So if Sense is Firesense will we be getting the Will of Fire? Cue Fighting Dreamers Music!...(seriously though please no. Get a better name.)

This post is very hard for me for several reasons. On the one hand I hate myself for writing this, on the other I feel I have to:

Azel has left the thread again, the reasons were much the same as they were last time. It's my fault for agreeing to this again, but that does not matter. What does matter is that he wants space, he does not want attention, please do not try to contact him.

In fact he wanted to just quietly vanish and I initially promised I would not say anything. In my defense as much as there can be one for betraying trust, I was too sad and and stressed at all this happening again to consider the implications. I then realized that people would worry about him (I worry when someone suddenly and without warming drops out of contact on the net). I cannot be party to something like that, I can't betray the trust you guys placed in me as the GM to keep you up to date on things regarding this thread I dearly hope I did not lose a friend though this cascade of fuck ups.

Once more my apologies and please do not contact Azel.
 
So I haven't been following today's discussion very closely for IRL reasons, and am now unenthusiastic about jumping back into a potential salt mine.
And of course DP's comment was uninformative (we never knew exactly why he'd left last time either, I think...).
Is there a kind soul who'd PM me a quick recap? Or is there no aggravating saltsplosion in the thread itself?

It was not just that, that may have started the ball rolling, but really I think some rifts are just too deep to bridge. Azel and I do not have compatible writing and GM-ing styles and I should have remembered that instead of just jumping right back in without a thought but happiness that he was back.

I'm most intrigued by the two we don't know, Will and Mind.

These two also seem quite similar as concepts compared to Sense.

I think the Mind-related ability might be Telethapy similar to what the Serpentfolk have, but with a flaming twist, like much further range when used with Fire-natured beings. It would be thematic to Yes and Ymeri.

Any of the options is likely to be amazing, I trust DP to fluff them appropriately but Flamesense is a little too niche to choose IC, OOC I might still have made the decision but it's a "nice to have" and so it's hard to see Viserys pursuing it at the opportunity cost of the others.

Defiance and Conviction, let's see what the power of Will does when coupled to the particular brand of Targaryen Insanity that is Viserys.

The tree we grew for the Silver Eye in Braavos would make a good supplement for any Inquisition base, IMO.
