I'm keeping my vote up but ditching the argument because while I feel like it's not an impossible stance to take considering our employment of Devils, even if they're more put-together as minions than some of our human hirelings, not many people here seem all that enthusiastic about sparing him beyond a token 'well it would hurry things along' comment here and there. And it would. It's undoubtedly the quickest route.

But I would accept some other plan, honestly, so long as it wasn't likely to blow up in our faces (in the literal sense, we can deal with the fallout from other ideas).
You could add "blow it up" to the options we present our companions here?
At least get an impression if they consider it likely that the traps we already disarmed were his main defence against the very blunt approach.

[X] Confer with your Companions and Allies: "What do you think? Could we return him to life with a light heart? Perhaps not, but it would save the lives of others to consider it at least."
-[X] You may be Lord of Volantis but that rule is newly forged, so obviously you won't go forward with it without at least tentative agreement from the others.
-[X] Viserys makes it clear just by suggesting it this is his desired route, but he elaborates to everyone on why. He has four ideas given the information presented and he challenges anyone to present an alternative:
-[X] Option #1, we resurrect Tagor and we can likely put this threat to rest here and now with the minimum amount (still quite a good deal) of risk to personal safety.
-[X] Option #2, we lie our asses off to someone who likely could not remember one good thing about that night and would really rather be as far away from this mansion as possible at all costs. This might not even work.
-[X] Option #3, we prepare a ritual using divine aid from the Old Gods, guaranteed to be painful and require a number of powerful mages and champions to defend the caster and weirwood sapling all the way through. Could be extremely dangerous if interrupted.
-[X] Option #4, canvas the place for hidden traps and tricks while fighting off the environment, disarm any we find, and then destroy the whole complex. No building, no bindings, but plenty of residue and material to track it down or even curse it from afar if necessary.

I'm not sure options 3 and 4 could work, should we not simply add the "use our greatest magics to break the bindings" instead? The real problem is whether or not Teana can stomach bringing him back, if she can we do that, if she doesn't then we just go all out.

[X] Seek a blood relative of Tagar and try to fulfill the conditions to undo the binning

Eh what the hell, let's try this first.

Argo was too large to hide behind those rocks. He'll be somewhat upset when he finds out they got into a proper fight without him.
Argo: "If Argo was there, Argo would have fed Bronze Squid his own ass."

Argo: "So you nearly turning into squid food is lesson for all occasions; Never leave Argo out of a fight, or you're going to have a bad time."

Actually... If we bring him back he might be able to help us modify the bindings into something more portable, let's say, snack sized.
[X] Restore Tagar to life

@Crake, how is this for a level up for Dirriz? DP asked us not to try to vote on more than one level up at a time, so I just started at the top of the list.

I've included a bit of retraining for spells to account for her experience adventuring, with an eye toward greater effectiveness. If she learns the Scaled Toughness Revelation and the Ironskin spells, Dirriz can buff up and hang in a bit higher weight class like her larger cousins.

Also, there was an error on her sheet related to her spells known. Oracles automatically learn either the Cure or Inflict spell (chosen upon becoming an Oracle) of the appropriate level when they gain access to new spells. One of her first level spells was used to learn Cure Light Wounds, so she actually gets two 1st level spells this level up to balance that out. I went ahead and included CMW and CSW in the level up, too.

We also crafted some gear for her this past month which should help her a lot. Being able to convert 1st level spell slots into Magic Missiles and 3rd level slots into Fireballs bring a lot of offensive power to the table.

Upgrade Cloak to +4 Charisma
Ring of Healing Vigor w/+3 Constitution
Gloves of the Starry Sky
Anklets of Translocation w/+30ft Enhancement bonus to flight speed
Earring of Arcane Acuity w/Goggles of the Golden Sun effect
Pages of Spell Knowledge: Conviction (100 IM), Entropic Shield (100 IM), Moment of Greatness (100 IM), Shield of Faith (100 IM), Divine Insight (400 IM)
Amulet of Tears
[] Dirriz Level Up

-[] Class: +1 Oracle
-[] Skills (7 points): +1 Appraise, +1 Bluff, +1 Concentration, +1 Diplomacy, +1 Knowledge (Arcana), +1 Spellcraft, +1 Use Magic Device
-[] Spells:
--[] Cantrip:
---[] Retrain: Flare >>> Prestidigitation
--[] 1st Level: Sign, Tap Inner Beauty
---[] Retrain: Magic Stone >>> Barbed Chains
--[] 2nd Level: Close Wounds, Cure Moderate Wounds
---[] Retrain: Spiritual Weapon >>> Ironskin
--[] 3rd Level: Ancestral Awakening, Cure Serious Wounds
-[] Revelation: Scaled Toughness

Grace would allow her to better abuse her mobility, particularly in her developing support role.

Resurgence is basically guaranteed to outright save lives sooner or later.

Darkbolt is going to hit harder than anything else she has available. Way harder, that potential Stun is too good to pass up.

@DragonParadox is the gender flip flopping in her description intentional?

@Goldfish - why this revelation?
Dirizz is a dragon, and DR/magic - most enemies worth named 'enemy' are going to have magic weapons.
Because very few Dragon Revelations make sense for someone already a dragon.

Dirriz was designed as a static character for the tournament, I took the most useful options and consoled myself that the useless rest wouldn't matter.

It only starts getting interesting again when she can get the Revalation to turn into bigger Dragons.

Yeah it is, I have an idea that might be a bit risky but could also shortcut this whole process.

Create Mindscape Greater, creating it with the Harmful trait and anything else that may benefit us.

Why this(maybe) works:

You don't need line of sight to draw the subject creature into the mindscape, but you must be aware of its presence within range.

The range should encompass the whole property and we know he exists as an entity.

The Greater version allows us to take multiple creatures into the Mindscape.

Basically we can create a battlefield, put him on it as a non-house entity and then fight it out Matrix style.

Mindscape should work fine.

Filling the mansion with Brown Mold starting in the central hearth that appears to have some form of connection should work fine, any fire traps will be consumed.

Polar Midnight will target the weakness of fire and permanently stasis any minions or summoned help.

Any of these could work but I need @DragonParadox to give IC thoughts.

I really wish I could get some information for the overnight votes, without it they seem to serve the opposite purpose of just making my ideas a non-entity for 8 hours :/

@DragonParadox

Could you please give IC thoughts on these approaches.

Edit: Doubled up on a quote, one moment please.

Actually you can probably ignore Polar Midnight, I was conflating its range with a similar spell.

Can't go wrong with asking our allies for advice/opinions. The thought of giving this idiot a second chance sits ill with me though. Honestly, I wouldn't even mind rezzing him just to kill him after everything is done. One could still argue that's a kinder fate than his existence right now.

Know also that to undo the incantation one of my living kin must stand forth where I was murdered and say truthfully and without compulsion that they bear N'Gath no ill will while knowing his nature and his deeds

I still don't see any way to achieve this btw, unless we basically mind rape someone with our persuasiveness.

Convincing someone of the necessity is one thing, making them truthfully feel no ill will to this thing is a step too far I believe.

And given the wraith's actions and comments so far he definitely bears ill will.
