Holy shit, guys, I just had an idea.

What if Robert fostered Joffrey in the North?

Cersei would lose her mind.
Well, if he does i REALLY hope he hasn't gone batshit yet.

Eh, a bit complex for a 4 year old. Why not make a set of cards specially hardened with each suite like one of her allies and us each looking positive slightly leaning in favor of us.

It's not entirely a joke, I do want to give her something, a minor enchanted item perhaps? Some loyalist Lord could give it to her, or maybe a merchant in disguise?
Ring of message?

Ring of minor illusion?

Boots of Featherfall?

Brooch of Freinds?

I know the security around the children is kind of a joke, but something tells me this would cause a melt down. All gifts like that are usually presented in open session while Robert is holding court... unless you meant that. He'd probably say to buzz off though, given his reaction to Tywin. You'd have to be Ned goddamn Stark not to be rejected out of hand these days.

Or Stannis, which is... honestly saying something about Robert's current state of mind. Not that Stannis would send a nameday gift that wasn't an abacus or a sword.

Brooch of Pavlov's Training : A golden brooch with small gems forming the face of a small cat with antlers.
When the wearer suffers harm (as understood by it's wearer, either physical harm or intense emotional distress) it sounds an alarm both around it and around attuned magical beads regardless of distance, the alarm sounds much less intense to the wearer than to others.
Hidden effect: after being worn for 24 hours, the brooch attunes to the wearer, anyone harming an attuned wearer also suffers a brief period of guilt and instrospection, more intense after repeated exposition.

Perfect.
Could we also include a deer bane net for Cersei and/or a dog bane mallet for Bobby B? :V

This is something we might be able to arrange, dude.

Should we try it?
It might be difficult to frame, but we could probably get someone to hint strongly to Robert that Joffrey might benefit from fostering as he did, maybe have Pycelle suggest Tywin, then have Varys counter with Stannis.

That's virtually guaranteed to swing to Ned Stark.

I'll never get used to being in control of the Small Council.

Twin Tribulations: In what some have called in jest to be the herald of the end of days, Walder Frey has lowered the toll to pass by the Twins. Many lords see in this as naught but another attempt to marry off some of his too-numerous brood as high as they can claw up, but the smallfolk are just glad for coppers spared. There's even been talk of 'Good Lord Frey' for the first time in Gods knows how many years. Tales that the Weasel Lord is taking his coin back tenfold in stolen silver by working with bandits are most often counted naught but sour grapes.
OMG Walder, do you want everyone to think you are a doppelganger? Because at this point only the general disdain all of Westeros holds for you is preventing an investigation in force on whatever could cause Walder Frey to be generous to people.

Speaking of that:
Talk of weirwood trees sprouting on the islands for the first time since the Salt Taking only stir the proverbial pot more
Shall we add more?

I can't quite remember how many we already raised there, but those people will need every edge they can get, I recon.
We have the sacrifices aplenty too.

We probably should supply the people there with more resources as well...
@Goldfish, can we yet churn out PFEs massively enough to help Rodric's administration hold up for a few more months at least?

Also, have we informed him of the body-jacking the Illithids have been doing since we uncovered the scheme?

IIRC none were planted in the Iron Islands by us just yet, though we're at a stage where we can start planting trees there if only to give Bloodraven a clear view of the islands.

There's a full Grove of petrified Weirwoods in an island there right? We could bring them back
If there is I haven't heard about it, but you could certainly be right.

By the way, @DragonParadox, as part of our magical fortifications/wards research, has Zherys happened to have researched the Black Walls? I was hoping to incorporate any lore there in our own future works. If he hasn't, are there any enchantments at all to be studied or no?

I'll have a full list of the Volantine mages' studies up eventually.
