I'm really interested to see what our enchanting efforts will look like when we've got a reasonable lab set up, a proper staff and maybe the next tier of the spellbook filled out. (will a grounding rod help is in our enchanting, sort of a "we can use more ulgu safely with this" deal, or will it have no effect?)

I'm not quite sure how much better the new enchantment on our robes would be compared to the old one, though.
 
By the way, we seem to be rapidly progressing in Khazalid. That scene with king Kazador? There was not a word in Reikspiel spoken, unless the royal family consists of very devoted polyglots.
He barely knows the Empire is a thing. He couldn't speak a word of it in the story bit where the White Wolf made contact.

I'm not quite sure how much better the new enchantment on our robes would be compared to the old one, though.

The WFB number-crunchers have said we want to bump Magic up to 8 (most straightforwardly by learning almost all the remaining non-Battle spells) before recreating our armour robes.
Edit: IIRC that would make the robes a WFB 3+ Save, rather than the current 5+ they offer.
When we cast our own, it's 4+ currently. I don't actually know the accuracy of the 3+ thing, though.

Remaining in Karak Eight Peaks and giving the eggs to the Amber College are enjoying landslide wins, while setting up a Temple to Ranald and using the Armoury for research storage have solid leads for our first and second options. As of the most recent tally, Scouting Remaining Peaks is ahead of Visit Anton and Wilhelmina by 6 votes to decide our third action.

I remember that. However, they had several days and a Reispiel-fluent longbeard, so, hypothetically, they could have decided to learn it asap and be talented enough to suceed. Hence, the 'family of devoted polyglots' hypothesis. :V

Will happen automatically if Mathilde spends much longer among Dwarves.
Who needs a family of dwarven polyglots when one wizard polyglot can breach the language barrier with much less effort?
 
After we scout out the enemies this turn we should spend a turn down at the Empire and pick up all our required stuff and give our reports. We can also get all those other Empire actions done at the same time rather than going back and forth and losing actions due to travel time.

I'm looking forward and fearing the return of normal turns at the same time; I've got this premonition that deciding action priority is going to be a bloodbath.
 
I haven't had the opportunity to read the past few pages, overatlantic flights followed by 12h workdays and jetlag are not the most condutive to such things, but did we just... not choose the option to have SnekJuice brought along with us? I though half the point of getting a tower set up was to start clearing up those old research projects so I have to wonder is the wonderful Box Of Eternal Bleeding is still back at our earlier/nominal home?

Yah it's still back at Wurtbad, we originally didn't bring it cuz it's a delicate contraption and didn't want to risk it.

I think it will be more civil and neat - plan format tends to do that. This tally by line format just encourages a free-for-all.

For people who are voting to visit our friends in Stirland, keep in mind that although it will not be in as much focus, there will still be visiting if we go pick up our snekjuice.

I don't much care for Stirland and I don't like the idea of going back there. But since our stuff is there, what I would like is if we would show up at Wurtbad via Dwarven Gyrobomber and leave like a boss as Roswita shows up to investigate. Just as long as we don't actually have to talk with her.

...worth blowing a favor or two on. Solely to look Like A Boss.

Hell, the pilot might appreciate doing it so Mathilde gets a little revenge. :D
