Yes. Probably in all of living humans outside of Tobaro.
Anyone who can answer, what's special about Tobaro? From the name I'm supposing it's a Tilean city state?

Legends of the Silver Tower have been told and retold a thousand times over - the place where plucky adventurers caused the downfall of the Gaunt Summoner. You're not entirely sure if this is the same Silver Tower, but you could make a claim on it even though it is built upon the as-yet unreclaimed Karagril.
@BoneyM, what's the story of the Silver Tower and the Gaunt Summoner in Divided Loyalties? From reading this thread the only thing I know is that it's an Age of Sigmar thing.

From my vague vague recollections my first thought is "Really fucked the Skaven over in some way." and they might also be one of the few places with strong human Grugni worship.

I could only find references to Warhammer Quest when I searched for information on it, and I remembered that Warhammer Quest was an old board game or something, so I figured it was just really obscure. But it turns out Silver Tower is the AoS reboot of Warhammer Quest.

[X] Convince Esbern and Seija to stay long enough to deal with the spiders in the Chiselwards.
[X] Convince Esbern and Seija to stay long enough to hatch the supposedly Lustrian eggs and study and possibly train whatever hatches.

Like these two, last chance to keep then around and we need for this stuff so please people vote to keep our amberlings around, we need at east one of these to win.
Currently keeping the Amber Wizards isn't winning which is interesting. I would have expected keeping them around would be a priority, especially if we can get them to train up our dinosaurs for us. Keeping them around to get them to write our papers for us is also desirable.
The thing is, we don't actually need dinosaurs? I mean, who's going to be spending actions trying to take care of some salamanders or whatever once Seija and Esbern go home? Us, probably. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Yeah, though the reason its significant is that it gets deep into the nitty gritty bits of dwarven psychology by on one side Vengeance from King Thorgrim and Hope as championed by Belegar. If you hold one, for a dwarf holding the other is extremely difficult and its a bit of the Old Hold/Young Hold split in microcosm.

If i'm understanding it right, the resolved grudges aren't somehow re-written, it's just we don't get favor for it.

[X] This is Dawongr Weber's money. The funds will largely go projects within the Karaz Ankor - your tower for one, but also investing in the Undumgi or Ulrikadrin, or purchasing goods made by Dwarven artisans or sold in the markets of Barak Varr.

[X] Write a series of papers on the magical phenomena you witnessed. Or better yet, get your Journeymanlings to do the actual writing.
[X] King Belegar is allowing you to use the King's Armoury. Recover your extant study materials from Stirland and tuck them away safely in there.

Because the obsession with Grudges is killing Karaz Ankor. You can't both live to see better times and die a glorious death.

@BoneyM did some of our deeds here increase our college rep? Both mechanically and narratively.

Also, it occurs to me that all of the people Mathilde apprenticed with would be journeying right now. Is there any chance we'd see one of them in K8P?

I could see one of them dropping by just to say hi or to see if they couldn't hitch a ride on our wagon so to speak. It would make for interesting interactions.

Live in peace and harmony with them for generations.
The fact that is noteworthy is sad especially if you remember that the Empire lynches dwarfs every now and again because of racism and such despite the Empire depending so much on the dwarfs. It's really saddening that despite the Sigmar's Churches rules saying to help the dwarfs it's a city in Tilea of all places that dwarfs have lived in for generations without trouble.

In fact that boney mother fucker cheats The Worst by being able to die multiple glorious deaths and see multiple better times.

I'm not sure how true that is, considering there is no actual Elven god of magic. You've got Hekarti, but she's the goddess of conjurations and Dark Magic, not magic as a whole.

There are three elven gods of magic.
While dhar contaminating Mathilde is no longer a concern thanks to her belt, the effects will still interfere with one another to create dhar, it'll just burn off. That will disrupt the spells involved and cause them to collapse. So if we want to use some of the excellent mental boosters the other Winds can offer, she'd have to remove all other active magical items and refrain from any of her own casting when using them, lest we get cross-wind contamination. They could still be very useful under those restrictions, but would functionally be a form of specialized, expensive lab equipment.

It's only a problem if the spells are touching the same place. Having multiple mental boosting spells from different Winds would be a problem, not having multiple magic items at all.

guys, can we not build our tower over a pit in to the depths where untold horrors/skaven probably lurk?

we need it in a safe place, one that wont get randomly attacked, and the top of karag nar is the best place for that.

The epilogue is multi-part, each part will have more of the victories tallied up.

It's certainly possible.

Been thinking about Mathilde's quest for meaning, and I'm really starting to find it right here in Karak Eight Peaks and directly at Belegar's side. Mathilde's actions have once again made the world a bit brighter, and the declining Dwarves have got a shining ray of hope that has the potential to turn their entire civilization around, and that is going to spill over into the rest of civilization. Thorgrim can frown all he wants, Belegar is right and he needs support.

I just like the idea of Mathilde spending her life here. I really like the Dwarves, I really like Belegar, and this is a very worthy purpose to dedicate one's life to.

(Also, I'm starting to wonder if Kragg is gonna come back and be more positive on Belegar's chances and importance, to everyone's surprise)

So, if traditionalist Dwarfs are just Dawi, chaos dwarfs are Dawi Zharr, how hypothetical Belegar's exiles/sympathizers would've been called?
Dawi Kruk, of course.

Also, I'm of the opinion that Asarnil would like Belegar.

This suggests a future performing an assignment the Grey Order thinks is suited to you.
I have to admit to being a little frustrated that the Bursars are the only point of interaction that Mathilde considers relevant enough with the Colleges to have an option. They shouldn't be primarily existent to her as a boogeyman or a burden she has to appease- she's part of them! And as was just pointed out, the Empire doesn't even realize what's going on in Karak Eight Peaks for the most part, how significant it is to the Karaz Ankor, or what the changes there will mean to the world economy.

There could easily be a "go meet with senior Magisters, a Lord Magister, or even the Patriarch if you can swing it; give a summary of the campaign results and the dwarf politics that you've have a front-row seat to over the past months, explain the economic and political impact of a resurgent Karak Eight Peaks, and see if you can get support for a larger presence from the Colleges of Magic in the area" option. Or something which builds up the Colleges as a positive force in Mathilde's mind instead of a menacing one.

The Grey College might care about research papers, but they care a lot more about the Empire, and the kind of information on recent events that Mathilde can offer. If she doesn't tell them these things, they will not find out about them because of how opaque dwarf society is to most and because she had a much better viewpoint than anyone else- they'd be getting months-old rumors by using their usual sources. Also, she may or may not now be the greatest living expert Magister on dwarf politics and society, as well as being the optimal choice for a human-dwarf diplomat in many circumstances. These are things that she should be sharing with them (and showing off for College Favor).

- If there are other significant and publicly known achievements I've missed, let me know.
The early scouting of the tunnel access is the only one that comes to mind, and I've no idea if that's favor-worthy or not. It might just fall under doing our job, similar to how scouting Karag Lhune or Karag Nar isn't worth any favor- getting intel gives nothing, only using it to accomplish things. Is that meant to be intentional (poor rangers, they don't get any respect for their scouting efforts) or is it merely that the acts tend to overshadow the infiltrations which preceded them?

Appropriately using our journeymen falls under commanding them and the favor for that is already accounted for, though I do hope that they're seeing decent favor returns too. Panoramia's poisons and work with rapidly establishing food self-sufficiency in the Karak are less flashy than Mathilde but significant contributions, and I imagine that Johann's work with the artillery is worth some nods. I can't think of anything standout the others did, sadly, but just showing up and helping probably got them a few points.
