That's why we're there. We're his "common sense" bonus.Problem is he might take a 'is a dumb kid' malus, kind of like Arianne used to with Doran before we smoothed out that little tangle.
Should still be well within tolerances.Problem is he might take an 'is a dumb kid' malus, kind of like Arianne used to with Doran before we smoothed out that little tangle.

So if this actually works will we talk with the Lord, Lady and Heir after this? Should we talk with the Lady and Heir after lord talking?
Should still be well within tolerances.
@Crake, Viserys could also boost Edric with a Grand Destiny spell for a +4 Circumstance bonus, a Greater Heroism for a +4 Morale bonus, and a Moment of Greatness to boost the Morale bonus from +4 to +8 for one check.
Viserys: "I'll be your shoulder dragon, kid."
Viserys: "I'll be your shoulder dragon, kid."
Edric: "My what?"
Varys: "As a shoulder dragon myself, I advise you to simply nod and do as the Dragon King bids."
Won't he notice his kid going from "dumb teenager" to " high statesman" level diplomacy? Will the bonus make him good enough to slip in a good argument while still sounding like himself? This isn't exactly going to be a subtle shift in how he behaves. Also we're giving the kid +20 to diplomacy, +35 for at least one skill check, effectively a Social Recovery skill trick by giving him advice from the sidelines, and he doesn't eat a hefty "is a fucking Mythic Dragon Sorcerer Heretic" malus and actually gains a "is my Son and heir who I care about" bonus.
Edit: Actually, come to think of it, I'm not sure we can give him divine insight, it's Personal range.
Still though, decent social skills + various bonuses. Also I'm a little bored of dancing around the same rodeo of convincing Lords why it's so obvious they should support us.
I think part of the reason DP sets up these types of diversions/family dramas is because he's also tired of replaying basically the same scene with some slight nuances over and over again. It allows us to solve a problem creatively and we get to play around as the mysterious wizard a little.
In that case, we can also drop a Chasing Perfection buff on him, too. +4 bonus to all of his stats will be useful. We can make him smarter, wiser, and more personable.
The bonuses we're giving him makes him all-around better at EVERYTHING social, pretty much. He becomes a good liar (thus actor) and a good orator too.Won't he notice his kid going from "dumb teenager" to " high statesman" level diplomacy? Will the bonus make him good enough to slip in a good argument while still sounding like himself? This isn't exactly going to be a subtle shift in how he behaves.
Done. Anything else?In that case, we can also drop a Chasing Perfection buff on him, too. +4 bonus to all of his stats will be useful. We can make him smarter, wiser, and more personable.
Damn, this kid is going to be in for a seriously trippy experience.

Hmm, these two come to mind.
Just a moment, let me pour my magical juice into a vial so you can drink it.They're Personal range spells, but Viserys can use his Quick Potion PoSK to make them into temporary potions for Edric to drink.
Then you can step into my windowless carriage to pet my...Dragon.Just a moment, let me pour my magical juice into a vial so you can drink it.

V: "Just drink these two little bottles, they'll make you better at dealing with your problems and make you feel better. It'll give you a whole new perspective on life"
M: "any side effects?"
V: "side effects? No, these things are great. I've been using them almost every day and I'm doing fine"
Do you think God doesn't come to Earth because he is afraid of what he has created? Because I'm sure as hell afraid of that.To put into perspective, assuming he has background skill points for Diplomacy at the very least (+3) as a noble heir, if not slightly higher, along with a Synergy Bonus for the Knowledge (Nobility), that's at least +5 skill ranks minimum. Let's assume maybe 12 Charisma at least? That would be +6. +12 for the Greatness and Destiny, +16 for one check. We're at +18/+22 already. Then +20 to Diplomacy, +20 to Intimidate, +10 to Bluff and +10 to Sense Motive. That's +38/+42 Diplomacy, maybe a bit less in Intimidate, +28/+32 Bluff, +28/+32 Sense Motive. Then +2 from Chasing Perfection brings that to a full +40/+44 and bluff is at a neat +32/+36.
He can keep up with actual diplomancers. Trivially.
I ALREADY MADE THAT JOKE!Do you think God doesn't come to Earth because he is afraid of what he has created? Because I'm sure as hell afraid of that.
It's from Spy Kids? What the fuck?I ALREADY MADE THAT JOKE!
Ahhh~ yes. What an utterly out of place gem in an otherwise potato of a film.
