Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

Holy shit, that's the in-character justification for why talking to the TSAB about magical medicine has never crossed Taylor's mind. :eek2: If he gets healed, she has to deal with that tangled ball of guilt and anger and rejection. The way things are now, he's in a nursing home where he isn't expected to recover, out of sight and out of mind. She never has to think about him. She doesn't even go to visit him. If "Danny" never comes back, she never has to process those emotions and can keep them buried deep in her subconscious, which is a very Taylor thing to do.

Not a healthy thing to do. Hopefully we can get her be more socially mature and then pop the question to the TSAB to see about if they can help out.

This one has my vote. These three are the most important right now.

Whatever Cassiel is up to, I hope she gets a strager things style Interlude.

To be fair, there is "Therapy". Aka the fic where Taylor's parahuman power is sanity.
That's a laugh, her power gives her an immunity to any mental disorder, AKA yes it's impossible for her to be insane clinically, but the way she abuses that power is something no truly sane human would do. Immunity to Body Dysmorphia doesn't mean it's sane to get Amy to give you tentacles.

I reaallly want us to focus on spending time with Kayleigh and Laura this trip, if only because we already spend A LOT of our free time with Vista.... and , ya know, the point of this arc was Kayleigh inviting us to do stuff as friends.

This is why I've been trying to get Missy, Laura, and Kayleigh together almost every vote I've participated in. The division between our work friend, Vista, and our school friends has made it really hard to do things that will satisfy the Vista maniacs and let us build on existing relationships. I really want those two to come with us when we go world hopping again, but I'm' quite content with any character development for these OCs. For all that Vista is awesome, she's also in practically every Worm fic I've seen.

This is 100% in compliance with canon Taylor Hebert. Feelings? What feelings? I'd rather go to kill Jack Slash than talk about feelings!

*three years later* Nope! Still hunting Jack! Feelings can wait!

welp, let me just amend my vote to remove the not allowed part

Is anyone else hoping Missy and Kayleigh bond over shipping shenanigans? I'm honestly surprised Kayleigh hasn't done anything silly yet—like put Laura and Taylor next to each other for the plane ride. The volleyball scene (it seems to be leading) should be fun!
