I have no objections so long as we get the Pegasi herd right after. This is the first time DP has admitted it would only take us a day to find them, and Vee is conveniently free for a minor action right now.

That said we should recognize that we're acquaintances at best with Danelle, so sharing too much intel like some are suggesting is something to worry about.

At best, we are saying we're preparing for an attack, gathering allies, and expressing clear openness to cooperation against foes they'll have to fight even if dropped dead an hour from now either way.

Once again, framing an offer that gives us multiple advantages over them as a favor they'll end up having to pay forward later on anyway.

The illithids I have no argument against. Randomly dropping intel on Asmodeus right now is a bit much.

Honestly the reason I support this vote is that so far we have made completely 100% down to the wire loyal allies with everyone we have fought in battle beside. It's hard not to trust someone who jumped in front of a SoD spell for you.

Or who crushed your enemies to powder in front of your eyes with magic you would rather not see aimed your way.

My issue with the vote is honestly that if we are to come to blows in the future (not when), I would rather not have Viserys fight someone who he fought alongside in battle. Yes we can intimidate them. But we can also give them critical info about how we fight.

Can trying to recruit her wait till after we deal with Old/New Gods debacle? Surely we can square it next month.

Okay. No issues here. @Goldfish?

To be clear, I'm not aiming to recruid her, not even semi-recruit like Mel.
I just want as much support on the Day of Bloody Waters as possible.
That one occasion, then we can go back to being passive-aggresive half-enemies.

Informing them of the attack may be wise either way.

They could easily use the chaos to run their own op, and prepare for the deep ones losing their shit.

What's better than one highly coordinated strike team destroying illithid bases?

Multiple highly coordinated strike teams destroying Illithid bases.

It will also eat up some of their manpower and create casualties.

Speaking of which... @DragonParadox, if we offer up Ulitharid and Illithid samples to the Flesh Forge, will it lower the Progress needed for making our own Psionics?

I think One Autumn Leaf just doesn't want to agree seriously to even a temporary alliance without some assurance that conflict won't break out tomorrow, which is what an ending of our current cease fire would pretty much be.

If we fight before the Day of Dead Squids that's obviously it for her.
Sad, two hands less for murdering aberrations, but we shall prevail.

If we do it afterwards we had her help and learned more about her abilities.
I count that as a win. Particularly since we could place her on a raid with different people than those we'll use to kill her eventually.
That's the advantage of having a lot of PCs to choose from.

I for one have no problem killing people we've fought beside. I don't expect we will fight, but I don't see it being an issue either way.

How about this? On the Promised Day if we keep her separate from the main hitters we can hide our more destructive capabilities. That way my paranoia is assuaged and we can use her. Fair?

It's probably going to happen this way anyway. The Companions are going to be on the other side of the planet hitting the main fortresses or even the citadels of the Deep Ones like the Place of Contemplation, while Danelle's group hits minor fortresses on the Sunset Sea. Even with our resources there are a LOT of places to hit.

Okay I have been convinced.

What is the name of this operation? Is it the Day of Dead Squids? Cause that is a little on the nose.
Day of Bloody Waters like @Artemis1992 suggested before has a really nice ring to it. We just need to be suitably paranoid and make sure the Deep Ones or other factions don't try to counterattack while we're busy. I wouldn't put it past them.
