[X] Xuan Shi is the closest thing to an expert on Xuan Wu that you know, and your liege has asked you to get closer to him. He's also not a bad sort, perhaps together you can put Zhengui through his paces?
 
[X] Shen Hu approached you for once. He has found the abandoned lair of an underworld dragon, but is not confident that he can face the scavengers that fill it unopposed.

Hanging with Luo Zhong seems informative, interesting, and rewarding. However, it's less fun/impressive to do prior to actually getting our stealth operational, and I want to make an impression. So far as I can tell, we won't have ENM up and running for this first event of the turn. Therefore, I cannot at this junction enthusiastically pursue political intrigue and friendly mutual murder times.

Edit: Just remembered that bullying Xuan Shi for turtle advice and generally leaching off of his expertise never fails to be hilarious, so

That'a largely useless here though.

Think about it like this: the point is to go out as a group and socialise and have a good time. Going off to sneak attack animals ourselves is completely at odds with that.
Remember how our hunts with GF went.

Or someone related to those unfortunates.

Given how alien upper tier cultivators become I'm curious if this 'justice' was disproportionately harsh given the scale of her purges.

Agreed,

We want more HDW than ENM here.

If someone goes home with a trophy they wouldn't have gotten if we hadn't flushed that deer, or without a wound they would have received if we weren't standing there with Deepwood Vitality, well people remember that sort of thing.

Also, we need to convince them we're not a dress or a Bai plant in disguise, not hunt like a Bai plant would.

I'm pretty sure the hunting is just the excuse used to socialize here. The skills involved during said hunting probably dont matter nearly as much as the social skills displayed. What's gonna matter is the social fencing which is why I'm nervous about doing that option pre-social arts. While I am aware the new social art won't solve all our problems, I'd still feel a little better going in prepared.

I'm confident that our Perception arts, Sixiang riding shotgun, Green 3, and a Cai ally or two present will suffice to not
embarrass ourselves.

And if we do, or make some enemies?

Oh no, conflict in our plot, what will we do?

Pfft. Pfft, I say! The point isn't to sneak attack animals off by ourselves. It's to sneak attack animals right under the noses of our hunting peers. If they're hanging out with Luo, they should be able to appreciate the casual danger of a stalking predator. Ling Qi being a huge softie dork only makes it better. It's about having style, Erebeal.

All HDW has at the next level is a privacy screen. Usefulness seems marginal. The radar is always cool and good though.

Its the prospect of humiliation that makes me cringe. We may also make CRX look bad too.

Mostly I mean the radar and Spring Breeze Canto(Especially with Six backing us with Cheerful Muse's Accompaniment) letting us power through privacy screens.

It'll be hard for !TotallyNotSudoWudo to camouflage when we have a vantage point on ourselves from that one funky looking tree though.

I just don't see it. Maybe if Luo was TRYING to trap us here that would be a risk, but I don't think that is the case. He knows he's underestimated us before, he knows Gu, Bai, and Cai have our backs, and he probably knows how well we finished(allegedly) the shit Yan Renshu started.

Does he want to burn any possible bridge with us? Maybe, but if so we want to know that too.

Yep. Su Ling is the half-spirit fox who despises her mother. She has a potent sense of right, wrong, and justice which is well-developed enough to attract a moon-spirit bat based around the very concept of justice.

While she has been focusing on production, she has been developing her sword work, and clearly, she is no slouch in combat at this point if she can bury a bunch of Lu Feng's goons.

With a clean breakthrough to green, all that's stopping her, in my opinion, from becoming a significant contender in either the production or combat Inner sect tournament is her bronze breakthrough, which could be difficult for her.

I'd like to think when lisuyin broke through, she invited suling over for personal celebrations, got drunk, and spilled a detailed dummies guide to go green and suling was like no way cant be that easy but it was.
