By all rights she should take a day to learn the spell so she doesn't constantly burn a Mythic power when using it.[X] Duesal
I'm sure Lya is happy that she can Wild Arcana such useful spells as Commune with Text when reviewing the library's contents.
Speaking of Lya learning spells, @DragonParadox, is that something we can just have her do automatically each month? I don't think she's learned a new spell other than when she leveled up since we changed the way turn planning works. That's several months without her learning anything new.By all rights she should take a day to learn the spell so she doesn't constantly burn a Mythic power when using it.
Our Calligraphy Wyrms are working on it as we speak.
By the way, we should totally copy the Serpentfolk at some point. Enscribing a copy of their books on slates of stone was a brilliant preservative method.
Hardened bronze all the way.Do it on a metal that doesn't corrode.
Or even better, hardened metal

Even just a few new spells a month would be nice, learned gradually in her spare hours as time permits.
I can't seem to see the picture :'(
You got any idea how much space and work that takes? Our Calligraphy Wyrms are working on it as we speak.

Seriously though, that shit lasts for ages even without magic to help it along.
Apply this to Adamantine-like bone we discovered.Unguent of Timelessness
Aura faint transmutation; CL 3rd; Slot —; Price 150 gp; Weight —
DESCRIPTION
When applied to any matter that was once alive, such as wood, paper, or a dead body, this ointment allows that substance to resist the passage of time. Each year of actual time affects the substance as if only a day had passed. The coated object gains a +1 resistance bonus on all saving throws. The unguent never wears off, although it can be magically removed (by dispelling the effect, for instance). One flask contains enough material to coat eight Medium or smaller objects. A Large object counts as two Medium objects, and a Huge object counts as four Medium objects.
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS
Craft Wondrous Item, gentle repose; Cost 75 gp
@DragonParadox
How about Harrenhall?
If this does annoy you, please say so, otherwise I'll keep up the reminders.
Or just apply it to our books and call it a day?
That's the best part, it would be delegated so far beneath us that it wouldn't be our problem. Sucks for the librarian. You got any idea how much space and work that takes?
Stone boards are a terribly inefficient medium.
I admit it's sturdy and writing down a few key-things might make sense, but copying an entire library is an incredible waste of manpower, storage space and time.
Also I guarantee the librarian in charge of organizing that shit would want to beat Viserys to death with the fresh copies in short order.
I would use sheets of Mithral that had been Fabricated nearly paper thin, etch them with an Adamantine stylus, then Harden them so that nothing short of deliberate and concerted effort can damage them using anything less than an Adamantine weapon or a Rust Monster. You got any idea how much space and work that takes?

That's downright ingenius. A library build like that would last forever.I would use sheets of Mithral that had been Fabricated nearly paper thin, etch them with an Adamantine stylus, then Harden them so that nothing short of deliberate and concerted effort can damage them using anything less than an Adamantine weapon or a Rust Monster.
We could even make tiny little Razor Sharp Hardened Adamantine pen nibs for the Calligraphy Wyrms to slip on the fingertip pens to allow them to do the work.
Better, though also kinda expensive.I would use sheets of Mithral that had been Fabricated nearly paper thin, etch them with an Adamantine stylus, then Harden them so that nothing short of deliberate and concerted effort can damage them using anything less than an Adamantine weapon or a Rust Monster.

Also, Rust Monster... I hate those things on principle. Hopefully powerful ones never show up on Prime Material, that would be very annoying to deal with.I would use sheets of Mithral that had been Fabricated nearly paper thin, etch them with an Adamantine stylus, then Harden them so that nothing short of deliberate and concerted effort can damage them using anything less than an Adamantine weapon or a Rust Monster.

Spell Combat is so damn tempting.[X] Duesal
Re: @TalonofAnathrax's concept, would go for Hexcrafter Magus and flavour it as a hedge witch of the Old Gods, to the North.
Take that one 'cook people' hex (No need to go hungry when there's perfectly good bandit meat right here!) and snag Craft (Alchemy) which is explicitly not magical and could have been passed down over generations along with perhaps Speak with Animals hex and other thematic spells. Play the mundane healer. Also, Raven familiar, duh. Might actually end up sacrificing people and gribblies to trees.
Good skills because Int-based, excellent offense/defense. Hexes of effects normally attributed to other classes and prepared spell list brings about a fair amount of versatility. A solid T3, T2 if you push it.
That sounds fair. Can it be done retroactively? If so, how many spells could she have learned? Six?Hmm.. you are right, but on the other hand I do not want to make it free since it does cost actual effort, one day per spell. How about this every three spels learn ina month subtract 1 progress from her main action? Sound fair?
Not cheap by any means, but we could get the stuff quite thin using Fabricate, so every pound of material would be good for at least a few dozen pages.
One of them should definitely be Commune with Texts. That sounds fair. Can it be done retroactively? If so, how many spells could she have learned? Six?

Also, we could use very small writing for better information density. Small margins and tight spacing should make it easy to at least quadruple the standard number of words per page.
[X] Blood Maiden Plaques: Much as they were creatures undeserving of existence, they weren't always like that… or at least their ancestors weren't. It would do you good to understand where they came from to those shores. (Likely information on Drow history and society) (Progress: 6)
-[X] Drow Assassins (Tuin & Morwyn)
Since Tuin and Morwyn are free now that their research is complete, what do you guys say to sending them adventuring? As far as I'm aware they should currently be free. We could partner them up with Svitran and Vrath and potentially take care of one of these "Jungle Tyrants" lurking next to Set'Var if the challenge isn't too difficult.Blood Maiden Plaques Complete (21/6)
- Confirmed Identity of Isle of Toads Hag
- Discovered the location of more Degenerate Drow
- Discovered the presence of bones belonging to an old deep-dwelling Drow expedition
