The update was pretty cool. I would have preferred that the kill option won just to see if we could do it, but the music scene was interesting.

Can you throw 4 Omake EXP at Spirit Ken? I should be at 11 points, since you didnt update the omake threadmark since hella months ago. This way we can be at 14 Spirit Ken going into next turn, which iirc with another 4 EXP investment next turn should push us in range of maxing it out via training relatively soon.

Yeah, if that puts us within 20 or so Spirit Ken after the omake point investment, then doing so again next turn means we can trivially use our first turn on SSC to upgrade it to an advanced skill, which should raise the efficiency for that enormously by the time we leave the Sect.
So while it isn't some massive gains, it wouldnt be something to underestimate, either.

It's like saying there's no need to dig a grave for the dead and place a tombstone when you can just toss their corpse on the top of the rubbish dump since either way they're dead.
That's just edgy consequentialism, if both have a 100% chance to succeed then Pacify is blatanly the best option because it means the spirit can be killed painlessly and in a dignified manner as opposed to being left to die in agony.
