I'm expecting we'll see something sent by Jubilex, long thought to be the Abyssal Lord of Oozes, but in fact he was merely an Aspect of Ghaunadaur, the Drow God of Abominations.

Well, only if we're using the D&D lore for Jubilex rather than the Pathfinder background. In this case, I hope it's the D&D side, however, as the slime's presence would tie in very well if it originated with the Aspect of a Drow deity, considering they appeared to have been the enemies of the Serpent Folk. Also, D&D 3.5 Jubilex is a CR 19 threat, which would make a fitting boss encounter for the party.

  • [X] Use Blood Wish to duplicate an Ooze Puppet spell targeting the largest of the Ooze Snakes.
    -[X] Once the Ooze Snake is under control (subsequently referred to as Oozmond), use it to physically round up the rest of its smaller brethren. While they are distracted by Oozmond, everyone will carefully move past the gathered Oozes.
    --[X] When everyone has passed the obstacle, Viserys will bring Oozmond to join the group while Malarys uses the Titan's Tools to place a Wall of Stone to block the corridor so the other Oozes cannot follow us. He will then use the Titan's Tools to transform the Wall of Stone to crystal clear quartz.
    ---[X] The group will continue on, accompanied by Oozmond, after Viserys uses his Orb of Mental Renewal to heal the Charisma damage from using Blood Wish.
    [X] Goldfish's Vote, but rename Oozmond to Oozma!

I am looking forward to an entire line of ooze-based loot, from regular oozes to sentient oozes to ooze items.

Fingers crossed for a Staff of the Ooze King.

There's a rod or wand that acts like a ranged tanglefoot bag, "Viscid Globs" or something, I can't recall whether it's cost effective for our Legion though.

The Rod is in Magic Item Compendium page 176 and it's 6,000gp.

A flying creature is not stuck to the floor, but it must make a DC 15 Reflex save or be unable to fly (assuming it uses its wings to fly) and fall to the ground. A tanglefoot bag does not function underwater.

A creature that is glued to the floor (or unable to fly) can break free by making a DC 17 Strength check or by dealing 15 points of damage to the goo with a slashing weapon.

It's a good way to stall flyers in mid air.

P.s. Stupid new format makes it much more difficult to break links on phone so copy pasting from wikias got a lot more bloated and uglier.

Exactly! Except this is my third time doing so :V,I typically reach a point past my previous one and is summarily distracted by something else. Let me tell you trying to find the chapter you left off on through seeing which post has likes is hell.

I would like to note that this guy totally deserves to be forgotten and dead for his own stupidity:
In a fit of fury due to Lolth spurning his romantic interests, Ghaunadaur struck most of them mad and took their intellects. As an unforeseen result, many of these worshipers ceased to exist, which caused the Elder Eye's power to collapse.
