I imagine most people would not appreciate waking up as a zombie/skeleton.

But would a zombie/skeleton appreciate waking up as a person?

Lanna's class hinders her quite a bit. As a Sha'ir she has to spend days waiting for her familiar to bargain with far-off genies for spells. Yeah, she can teleport, but she can't really do it on a whim like Viserys and his more powerful vassals can.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Lannisters started getting more powerful PCs through Lanna training them.

This is not the case, a Sha'Ir is capable of acquiring their full spell loadout in about the time it would take a Cleric or Wizard, the only exception is when they go for one of the Divine spells they have access to which then does take hours but still not days.

Arcane Spells Known take rounds, Arcane Spells Seen take minutes.

At low levels the issue is that the spells "fade" after class level*hour, she would have to be holding them for at least 15 hours now, and need to be retrieved again but she can send her Gen to do that while she does whatever she likes and after the initial set-up it's just staggered retrieval that you don't even notice.

Goldie do we have PoSK or other means of access to the spells I posted for you?

Are we taking baby mages for the low-mid search abilities?

I am particularly looking forward to the use of those, we can get pretty clever in an environment like this.
Several of the spells you suggested were used for new PoSK for Viserys.

Here's Viserys' current Grimoire. I've underlined the ones you suggested.

Grimoire of High Arcana:
Level 1: Ant Haul, Clarion Call, Comprehend Languages, Conviction, Cure Light Wounds, Instant Portrait, Moment of Greatness, Shield of Faith, Spontaneous Search, True Casting, Zone of Truth
Level 2: Calling the Flock Home, Create Magic Tattoo, Detect Thoughts, False Life, Full Pouch, Greensight, Heroics, Ironskin, Quick Potion, Resist Energy, Rope Trick, See Invisibility, Tongues, Trail of the Rose
Level 3: Call the Void, Heart of Water, Magic Vestment, Riversight, Spectral Scout

@Crake, we should take a set of Titan's Tools with us to Sothoryos. Is there any particular infrastructure project that wouldn't be significantly impacted by losing access to a set for a week or so?

At this point, you would literally be better off detouring to buy another set. Yes they are critical. Part of what quells fear of riot and unrest is the sheer shock value of livable space being created as fast as it is torn away from displaced families.

Edit: While I would suggest getting more, we could probably give up a week of progress from one set building a highway towards the Rhoyne region.

So... one beyond the Sunset Sea, one either in the Summer Isles or some unknown lands west of Sothoyros, and one... @DragonParadox, did you really put a Coatl on the moon? o_O At least I hope it's the moon and not the sun, even though it would fit the seconds sun of Aztec myth, which was Quetzocoatl.
@Duesal, coatl is nearby Sothoryos, but not on it itself, it seems.

Excellent and thank you, we need to get access to Forest Sense, Jungle Mind, Dungeonsight and Tectonic communion for the trip, luckily they are worth using our Bloodwish and Arcana on/ Vee etc

I can't wait to see Vee in action in Sothyros @DragonParadox.

So to put a couple of the low level spells into perspective for people Calling the Flock Home and Trail of the Rose allows our allies to as close perfectly track us as is possible for 17 hours and the cues don't even exist for our enemies.

Trail of the Rose actually targets the component so we can plant it on an enemy or even a moving inanimate object, attach it to bait etc.

Riversight isn't as low level lets us see 9 Miles upriver and 34 Miles! Downriver.

Cave systems etc. are quite often caused by watercourses so we can effectively see 34 Miles underground into natural caverns.

I really like that spell, we should get the Rhoynar blooded versed in it's use.

Edit:

For context

The world's longest underground river flows deep beneath the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico.

The Sac Actun ("White Cave") river system in the Yucatán Peninsula, wanders for 153 km (95 miles) through a maze of underground limestone caves.

We could follow a full third of the course of the world's longest subterranean river system.

That is absolutely insane.

I'm so excited for Sothoryos.

There is:
1 Serpentfolk Necropolis
  • The second half of a Greater Rod of Quickening
  • Various other treasures our baby adventurers were unable to get to
"Mountains of Silver
  • Apparently the lair of Drow Fleshcrafters
Six other Serpentfolk Cities
  • Loot of course
  • Potential vassals
I genuinely can't wait. :D

I love loot upgrades. Feels like forever since we got something neat and immediately useful, rather than having to dither for a bit figuring out where it should go.

Just had the mental image of Viserys returning to SD, sporting a tan, dumping two travel bags full of jewels and magic items on the ground of his solar in shock as he sees a desk piled high with panicking letters and two dozen courtiers, knights and noble scions bursting into the room and screaming about something Cersei did.

"I've been gone TWO WEEKS!"

I try to keep a steady progression of upgrades coming to Viserys and the Companions, but that's generally an incremental process.

Big surprise upgrades are hard to come by now.

Ancient Magic Ruins in the Hungry Jungle far from Civilization with known Subterranean Cities and it's all encompassed by an Australia Tier Death World Environment.

I have to actively stop myself from rambling about how goddamn awesome all this is and you still get posts like the above from me where I go on about how we can use and combine spells I've already told you all about, I can't help myself.

Cue us using Teleport/Divination combo to not have to deal with 90% of the things described :V
Ye, we are all a bit hype-y.

If you really want to guarantee this, we should start the pamphlet bombings all over Westeros and cause chaos.

Alinor: "In two weeks, she managed to offend the Djinni by demanding wishes from their ambassador, ally with Abaddon to purportedly depopulate Essos and the Stepstones, and attempt to assassinate Stannis using suborned Kingsguard."

Viserys:

I would love to spend a month of IRL to really focus on a week of adventuring in Sothoryos.
