@DragonParadox, what's the IC guess for what this thing is? Some kind of Fey?
Whatever it is it's probably coming from the Underdark and given now little you guys know of what lives down there Dany can't make an educated guess.

We could give him a PfE ring and Healing Belt, too. Super basic stuff, but also super useful, and we have plenty in stock now.Would he also like a fancy sword to show off when Conquest rolls around? Maybe some armor to go with it?
Can we have our Drow sit down with Vee and compile a small section for the Underdark to add to her growing bestiary?Whatever it is it's probably coming from the Underdark and given now little you guys know of what lives down there Dany can't make an educated guess.

it's definitely not coming from the Underdark, I can assure you of that*
Can we have our Drow sit down with Vee and compile a small section for the Underdark to add to her growing bestiary?
Also... is there an entrance here?
I wonder if this is a dragon from the Underdark or something. I remember purple dragons living down there. I can't think of anything else "jealously guarding the hoard" off the top of my head.

If we get 12 per month, I'm sure we'll find plenty of places to assign them.@Goldfish, so I take it in addition to Glass Golems for the Erinyes, we're mainly going to be handing them out to the Inquisition and the Silver Eye?
Though that said I'm certain the Wall would very much benefit from one of these.

Ideally we can get one per province assigned to the Inquisition therein. That would be an excellent spread of forces. This coupled with a Herald assigned to every Count and Governor. If we get 12 per month, I'm sure we'll find plenty of places to assign them.
... That is very unfortunate. Dammit. I guess we're back to a Valyrian Steel or Dragonglass Golem of some sort.Unfortunately Cold attacks are one of it's weaknesses, not a destructive one but fairly debilitating.
Luckily they also lend themselves well to our affinity for fire
- A magical attack that deals cold damage slows a glass golem (as the slow spell) for 3 rounds (no saving throw).
I'm sure we can find a low level Fire spell for fast healing, and if we really want to dump some cash we could mess around with things that leave lingering flames like Flame Step.
- A magical attack that deals fire damage ends any slow effect on the golem and heals 1 point of damage for each 3 points of damage the attack would otherwise deal. If the amount of healing would cause the golem to exceed its full normal hit points, it gains any excess as temporary hit points. A glass golem gets no saving throw against fire effects.

This is very nice... We really should make one of these for the Night's Watch, and then give it an Otherbane Valyrian Steel Greataxe on top of that. The first Obsidian Minotaur is still waiting patiently to be created.
Burn (Ex)
The claws of an obsidian minotaur deal 1d6 points of fire damage each time they hit. A creature hit must succeed on a DC 16 Reflex save or take 1d6 points of fire damage for 1d4+1 rounds as clothes ignite and armor becomes searing hot. The save DC is Constitution-based.
I just couldn't resist the parallelsWould he also like a fancy sword to show off when Conquest rolls around? Maybe some armor to go with it?
@DragonParadox, this month we are set to mulch 1 Obsidian Devil in the MossForge - to learn how to make simular constructs to it, since...
Well, obsidian we have aplenty, and they seem like great weapon against Winter-touched.
(Also, great resistances)
Would there be some resonance with the Myrish glass golems?
A way to improve both methods of creating these constructs?
Obsidian is still glass, after all, so they aren't all that different.

*looks at Tolos scholarum and another one he doesn't remember the name of off the bat*Potentially yes, but I'm not sure you guys need more research projects.
Would it be possible to make an item for them that either constantly or at will does a small amount of fire damage to them? Like a cantrip or something?Ideally we can get one per province assigned to the Inquisition therein. That would be an excellent spread of forces. An extra 2d6 of damage for each bane. You'll have to run the math, persisting fire damage on it's claw attacks is nothing to sneeze that.
What did the stacking banes add up to?
I take it you're referring to the Heralds' and Harbinger's abilities to heal by fire? The Obsidian Minotaur unfortunately doesn't have that.Would it be possible to make an item for them that either constantly or at will does a small amount of fire damage to them? Like a cantrip or something?
[X] Goldfish
An extra 2d6 of damage for each bane.
So Otherbane was Winterbane + Undeadbane + Feybane, totaling up to 6d6 damage. Pile that on a Valyrian Steel weapon and the Others have a very bad day.
