@Goldfish I wouldn't stress too much over it, I was going to reformat a template and just copy over turn information to it along with filling in other actions.

Though if y'all want to determine activities for Alysande, Zherys, or anyone else, you can suggest some stuff at-will. Or we can just deal with it retroactively. It's not as if we've got infinite screen time anyway.

@Goldfish @Crake what do we need to do to further the growth of the Inquisition? We were in agreement that we need to actively foster that development now that the Orphne Lords and Ladies will be joining in staggered intervals.

I've been saying it for months now. Money isn't an issue any longer, it's time.

If we could just buy more time...

Are ya'll sure I can't start setting up temporally accelerated demiplanes?

That's one of those provincial action things I'm not familiar with yet. We've been working on building Inquisition bases all over the place for months now. We should just keep doing that, along with deliberately trying to recruit people into it.

I will earmark 100,000 IM for forge purposes. If you had suggestions, now is literally the time to make them before other people with voracious plant creature appetites eat that budget up faster than you can blink.
I don't really have suggestions, I just want us to begin actually using the Fungus Forges cash to creatures ability, we are spending fortunes hiring mercenaries, I would rather spend that money on Fungus Forge creatures, they are more reliable, and don't demand much continuous pay once created.
We've graduated to using Pathfinder prices for exotic metals, so at 340 gp/lbs = ~68 IM/lbs this nets us... 136,000,000 IM.

...
...
...

Sell that Adamantine.
In light of this, can I move the decimal point for my request, so we spend a million on Fungus Forge creatures?

No, not yet.

Also, we need to visit Yohn and Doran around the start of the month. I would get it out of the way post Interplanar Trading.

It's still an issue, it's just less of an issue than it used to be, but even if the Fungus Forge was capable of it, we can't yet pump a 100 millions into it each month.

[X] Singers upon the flaming sea: Train phoenixes to safely harvest Fire Whale Gems for the betterment of both the pods and your own treasury, as well as setting up a safe trade route for all the gems (Progress: 15, Cost: 10,000 IM)
-[X] Assigned: Velen

@DragonParadox Can you tell us what kind of dice Velen get for this action, if there's zero chance of succeeding this month, I want to try to argue for adding a second person to it.

What is our soon-to-be fleet of battleships (Moonchaser+) made of?
Hardened Steel that has been further enhanced by being enchanted as +3 armor, I believe.

If we made it out of Adamantine, or even just coated it in the stuff, the price would be astronomically higher. The Moonchaser would be worth too much to risk in battle, basically.

He should be rolling 4d6 for it, I believe.

He's a bard though not a diplomat. Just 2d6

Speaking of diplomats here's the diplomatic corps action:

[] Form a Diplomatic Corps
Ambassadors have long since been used from the Summer Islands to Ibben and from the Iron Islands to Yi-Ti. However in most cases they boast either connections of blood to the lord or his personal seal. As you begin to deal with lords far lesser in power, though not in pride like those of Omber however it might serve you well to create an institution for the task
Requirements: None
Action: Government
Progress Needed: 40
Cost: 50.000 IM
Upkeep 5000 IM

I know that is a lot of progress but it's designed to let you automate routine negotiations while giving a hefty bonus to delicate ones.

I would just like to reiterate how sweet it is for us to be filthy stinking rich after so much time being so dirt poor that newbie D&D adventurers would have felt pity on us at level 10. I remember when we started to ask DP for money instead of magical loot because we were so strapped for cash...

So we aim for advanced, mass-produced magi-tech? Not the best of the best that could be done, just a lot better than what our enemies currently field.

Ah, thanks DP.

Updating the turn plan and spreadsheet now.

@DragonParadox, it's finished! Check out the relevant tab whenever you have time!

Note that my tables are quite wide. You may want to use the View->Zoom function and pick a smaller number than the default, dependind on your screen size.

The instructions are in bold at the top, and there are disclaimers and warning in bold at the very bottom. Here they are, reposted for clarity (feel free to Bookmark or copy this post if needed):

How To :
  1. DP, here is how to use this sheet: First, "input number here" next to each school after rolling the required number of dice. This will automatically calculate new lv 1 mageling numbers.
  2. Then, copy-paste the old "FINAL TABLE" into the "previous month's mageling distribution". Note that this should automatically update the "current month's mageling distribution".
  3. Copy-paste the text (not the formula, the resulting numbers!) from the "current month's mageling distribution" table into the "FINAL TABLE" table.
  4. However, the new magelings are still missing : manually add them to the relevant column in the "FINAL TABLE" table. You now have a single table clearly saying how many magelings we have for each level.

DISCLAIMERS :
  • SYSTEM WEAKNESSES : Combat and its effects on leveling. If there's a fight or war, PM or tag @TalonofAnathrax and I'll handle the relevant table-tweaking according to whatever ratio is decided.
  • Another possible issue is the fact that the numbers beneath the large black line may not always appear to make sense : this is because they're all set to display a certain number of decimals after the comma. You may be surprised to see that 17,2 + 18,4 = 35,7 or something -> ignore it.
  • Single idividuals are an issue. there are some people in there who will NEVER level according to these rules (Night's Watch Brother, some of the Mantarys people...) because their numbers are too few and will never increase. Perhaps we can accept that, or perhaps you'll say they've leveled whenever it feels appropriate. Or maybe they'll simply level whenever there's combat, but not through mere study.
  • Another issue : Magelings who have reached the level cap won't ever bypass it. This is intentional : we will only obtain baby PCs when you decide it (perhaps after a war?) and not through mere regular dice churning.
  • WARNING : When reading, ignore anything after the comma. For example : 17,2 means that 17 new magelings were created. The 0,2 is there for bookkeeping purposes only. Please don't hide or remove it though ! Otherwise when you paste text only things get weird.

  1. Sounds great. I don't want to break anything so I will run though the numbers tomorrow when my brain is better equipped to deal with numbers
  2. I can handle the Manatrys mages and the Night's watch manually, they are few in number
  3. Same with breaking the cap I can get back to rolling d100 and seeing what sticks, those are rare instances outside of the narative and always have been

@DragonParadox, when will Yrten and Siduri have more intel for us? Will we be seeing them in the next few weeks?

For example, I'm very interested in developments among the rebel Salamander Kingdoms.

[X] Goldfish

@DragonParadox, so Anu has been sitting on a creation ritual for Warforged for a while now.

Can we give him enough Adamantine for, say, five or so new Warforged as a test run? As well as to serve as guides and mentors for the incoming influx of Warforged?
