On a side note we should all be proud of Sandor. He had a fear of fire and went to fight evil fire spirits in the Plane of Fire.
Yeah Sandor definitely need to be rewarded for his efforts here, problem is what do he want, we can't go fetch Gregor for him at the moment, and he's not ready for us to attempt revival of his little sister yet, so what reward would work well for him.

Only thing I can think of that's not just more gear(which feels kind of self-serving, since the gear will be used to serve us better) would be for Dany to spend some time infiltrating Gregors dreams with him and turning them into nightmares, and that feels a little too petty.

Sigh.. Healing Tree standardized. I still feel that it makes the discussion and decision we had leading to it, cheap. Whatever.

Let's thoroughly reforest the Andal's heartland first. To appease the OGs and get some more leeway in treating with the Seven's church(es).
We could also get around to growing a Heart Tree on the Plane of Earth, yes I know we haven't worked out how to get it sunlight yet, but that just mean if we don't do that soon we will have to sacrifice a Quasit or imp there every few months to keep it healthy(when we first asked about Weirwood in the Plane of Earth, DP said that if we didn't fix the sunlight water and soil problems, the Tree would need sacrifices to be healthy, not that it couldn't live without Sunlight water and good soil)
Well it hasn't been a concern... only because we keep doubling our GDP by tapping our sugar daddy for more pocket change, the Brass Bastard's endless navy be praised.

Something tells me that isn't any more sustainable than trying to squeeze peasants for coin like they do in Westeros, so let's make sure we continue to improve our other revenue streams, eh?
I'm all for finding steady streams of revenue, personally I think the Fungus Forge should be a good source of revenue, if we make non-sapient plant creatures, we can begin to sell them to our allies.

And of course I'm very much looking forward, to Fire Whale Gem harvesting beginning to bring in profit.

Thanks for reminding me:

Amrelath -> LEVEL UP (Gain HD)
Relath -> LEVEL UP
@Goldfish, so Relath is gaining his second Sorcerer level, going from CL 6 to CL 7.

If I'm not mistaken, he gains a first level, second level, and third level spell.

With that in mind, here's what I was thinking. Your thoughts?

[] Relath Level Up
-[] +1 Level Sorcerer
--[] Spells:
---[] 1st Level: Between Nerveskitter and Shield
---[] 2nd Level: Wings of Cover
---[] 3rd Level: Between Primal Instinct and Dispel Magic
--[] Skillpoints (5 points):
---[] More or less put everything into Spellcraft and Concentration along with retraining from Survival and Swim for this.

So I just thought of something for Trees...the point of using Tongues on a Tree is so everyone in range can communicate, right? Generally that's why Tongues is superior to Comprehend Languages, which only translates one way. But if everyone is affected by the tree, then Comprehend Languages has the same effect as Tongues, at a much lower spell level! They're all speaking their own language, but are understood anyway.

Cuts palm upon rough bark

"Under the gaze of the Gods, I do so swear anything I utter is true to my understanding of the world, its tenets and temperament, until such a time this offering dries."

Wound glows an iridescent white for the duration upon a failed save.

People do not need any help for bargaining - this is Braavos. But.. with some many eldritch creatures and services suddenly in play, some guarantee of honesty might be nice, yes?
Now this is a fantastic find.

Darn, I was hoping The Hound would level up from Plane of Fire for the thematics.

Uh... A write-up for a Heart Tree, maybe, then?
While it's not too late and the vote is open still?

You know, look at it like that...

@DragonParadox perhaps Clegane deserves a level up after he's had some time to reflect on facing his phobia in what was likely much worse than his worst nightmare?

Because if there's one way of getting Sandor to not be afraid of fire I need a jiffy, is to bring him to a situation where he had to apply a big fucking sword to said fire's face, and won.

"It won't hurt you" will never work. "Kill it faster than it kills you" is essentially Sandor-speak.
Also let us not lose all sense of perspective of what money is actually worth, people. I marked 25,000 down because I knew it would be overpaying for the actual level of support given without welding the wealth of a small (large, actually) fief onto their networth as a reward for one action. That lies the realm of insanity and it's unsustainable. Do you know how much our upcoming projects are going to cost?
We made ~35k from the brass. So maybe 15k for Relath, 20k for Amy.

Which, to highlight again, is an absolute fucking jackpot.

We should also have a page of spell-knowledge for it (the pathfinder version) so it's a known element, can slot right in.

This spell is so much better than Zone of Truth and at a lower level to boot.

@DragonParadox, I was wondering if you could clarify a few things?

In the City of Brass, what items are available for purchase that typically aren't available elsewhere?

1. Rare fire-based plants we can purchase and cultivate?
2. Rare fire-based animals?
3. Anything special in the slave market we might want to consider buying and freeing?
4. Any specialized magic items the Efreeti make?

I was hoping to have the option to browse the wares at least through Malarys before the Living Brass scheme is pulled off.

We can grow that tree later. A Healing Tree for now is fine.

We're not on a timer for this, we can do it whenever we want.

Amy just learned fifth level spells, too. Big, big plus there, as he can now teleport himself, and do "my carry capacity is everything" shenanigans. Not to mention picking up something like Greater Blink.

Think of it the other way ! It's proof that the discussion lead to an excellent result!

Feel free to propose something else again if needed. The voting population has changed a lot, after all.

@TalonofAnathrax, going back to yesterday's parting words of mine - could you tell me what, exactly, should I add instead of the lit text to have it roughly fit our constitution?
[] Make a formal decision on the legal status of magical companies, guilds and institutions in the realm.
-[] Specifically regarding the duty to share arcane knowledge any individual mage, or a group has with the scholarium.
-[] Additionaly, decide whether religious groups are required to share their lore and knowledge as well - like the Red Priests' rituals.
--[] Perhaps with the clause that use and spread of said knowledge and rituals will be decided on a case-by-case basis via King and Companions, effectively only forcing to share the fact of having specific lore and knowledge (and not the details of it themselves).
Should I jsut have religious groups chalked up alongside every other source of knowledge/lore and have stuff be decided on them equally with others next month?

Sounds good to me as any plan - also sorry for the extended absence but life has been pretty hectic lately, alas the fast pace of the quest becomes a double edged sword, great when your up to date, increasingly tricky when your not.

I'm going to need some time to think this though.

*sigh*

I feel like I have to design a whole system for 1-2 exceptional cases. I'm beginning to think this might be a good time to just apply handwaveium.

I'm glad you came to a resolution on this issue, although I was curious, how did the sacrifice system work to begin with? And I'm not sure how it has changed.

Thanks for any insight anyone gives me.
