Wasn't Xor going to learn the Words of Creation? Those are way more fitting that just being a glowing light and bonus to diplomancing good creatures.

Xor doesn't need a bonus to diplomance good creatures. He is already better than most.

"All who look upon you know without a doubt that you are a champion of good and are favored by the powers of the Upper Planes."

"Good creatures automatically recognize the radiance surrounding you as a sign of your purity and devotion to the powers of good."

Very useless feat since it have zero pre-requisites. Technically speaking a devil can take this feat with impunity.

I think the thing with Roland not being able to guarantee that a Parley is respected by Lucan is more "Lucan has more divine authority as invested by the Father than I do" than "I'm under a geas."

So as the Father's Chosen, Lucan is in command, but Roland and his fellows can still exercise free will-ish.

Blessing these rains, because holy shit I may die, it seems like a small sea is falling on me over here.

They aren't willing or free. But unlike the people in Viserys' hoard, Lucan is not very good at engineering Stockholm-like dependency. :V

The best outcome would be him no longer trusting his other Angels, and either trying to bind them Lannister-style or dismissing them entirely in a fit of paranoia.

"Roland would speak to you Your Grace, but he has neither the power to command the Chosen nor refuse his questions so cannot guarantee that he would hold to keep the peace of any parley Roland might be a part of."

Ehhh that wording in specific makes me wonder... Its one thing to just say "he won't respect a parley," and something else to add on "BTW I can't refuse to answer when he asks me questions."

Also didn't Lucan's initial interlude heavily suggest he was going down the "bind and serve" mentality re other magic users? Not to mention a few interludes with Danelle n Co imply he's been peeved at their treating Brandon the Other blooded and Aryssa the Pixie as comrades instead of chained useful beasts.

In addition a when Warlord Archons uses its Wall of Fire and Mass Fire Shield spell like abilities half the damage is fire damage, but the other half results directly from divine power and is therefore not subject to being reduced by resistance to fire-based attacks.

Finally a Warlord Archons Mass Fire Shield has a duration of 1 minute/level, and grants immunity to all damage dealt by the Archons Wall of Fire spell like ability.

Well. Unsurprisingly I am still terrible.

I cant bring myself to think I know better than Goldfish or TNE, but I also can't bring myself to toss out the icy barrage ability. So... I did both? Not that big a difference in hindsight

I needed to tweak the fire a bit, but after doing so and sitting down and thinking about it. I am... pleased with it. I would be happy to have either of these.

Icy barrage is (now) roughly in line with a full attack in terms of damage? but far more accurate.

While wall of fire, and mass fire shield offer a bevy of tactical options for unique sight line blocking and cheekiness.

Wall of ice has to be placed on the ground, and is solid. Wall of fire can be put in the air and is permeable to friend and foe alike.

Wall of ice can be used to create platforms... bridges... domes... and to simply prevent enemy movement, rather than merely discouraging it.

With Mass fire shield wall of fire can be used a defensive and offensive tool. Allowing The Archons allies to duck into and out of cover at leisure while making foes pay dearly for attacking them.

(If you can get Yrael and his buddies a version of fire eyes that works on magical fire this is rapidly going to become hilarious.)

Shrug*

Lay into eet.

@TotallyNotEvil I think Yraels max dex bonus in full plate is +4, if I am wrong please feel free to correct me.

Skip past the initial weirdness and introductions and bla bla bla, into Show Dany telling Best Sister about her exploits, and she is like "oh gods, Viserys can never hear of this or the damn lessons will come back, with a vengeance".

Dany in our verse got to hit multiple lines of pure Valyrian divination after the age of like five. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that maybe ruling isn't your strong suit and that you should probably place reasonable limits on your responsibilities. Than again, our Dany actually got influenced by a reasonable authority figure.

It's worth pointing out that for all the relationship hinges upon mutual trust and love and understanding, the few times that Dany has done something that warrants Viserys' direct intervention, she meekly goes along with it.

Though that's probably because every time we've stepped in was ultimately something she could agree with.

Canon Dany would just throw a tantrum if Viserys politely pointed out the numerous ways any one of her horrible decisions could go wrong. And also point out the numerous deficiencies of her advisors. "She's a good Queen! She's looking out for the little guy! ... SHE'S GOT DRAGONS!"

ASWaH!Viserys: "Are Dragons now virtues, or even personality features?"

ASWaH!Dany:

ASWaH!Viserys: "What?"

I see it more as the Angels operating under a Military Structure while still being Elemental LG.

Lucan is their Commanding Officer on this deployment as determined by the Divine Commander in charge of this whole shebang.

That carries some metaphysical weight all told.

So, as the designated underlings of the Divine Champion Chosen By Their Policy Maker, they are obliged, both by position and metaphysical authority, to obey his field decisions. And when you're Elementally Lawful Good and your commander asks you a question, you answer it in both letter and spirit of question.

It's quite possible that there is Magical Restrictions going on, lord knows Planar Binding is relatively cheap, but it's also entirely possible that what's going on here is roughly "The Father said shut up and do what the Chosen said, so we are obliged to do that as His Servants and Angels."

Depends on what he is wearing.

If you give him the ability to manifest armor, it should naturally conform to his baseline DEX mod. If not, just stat him out without it.

Also, his melee attacks are reading as Javelin, instead of Greatsword.

And isn't the +1 stacking Morale bonus only when he is wielding the scepter?

Melee attack is: Holy Flaming Burst Greatsword +28/+23/+18/+13 (2d6 + 1d6 Fire + 16/19-20 x2) - +2d6 damage against Evil targets, +2d10 fire damage on critical.
Ranged is: Holy Flaming Javelin +27/+22/+17/+12 (1d6 + 1d6 Fire + 13/ x2) - +2d6 damage against Evil targets - 30 ft range increment

Here I'm counting on him using Scepter with javelins.

Holy doesn't raise the enhancement like Bane does, so just +2d6 and making it Good-aligned.

and its javelin vanishes after striking or missing its target.
"Or after one round, whichever is shorter. It crumbles to ash if another creature attemps to use them."

Would adjusting his existing armor to allow his full dex bonus work?

Making his natural armor and letting him go around naked?

Leaving it as is?

Remove the dex cap on his armor period?

His armor is very nice, is why I ask. Orante Sanctified segmented reinforced mithril full-plate.

Pretty much the only virtue as a ruler canon Dany can be said to have after the mess in Slaver's Bay is good intentions, sadly the sort the road to Hell is paved with.

Pretty much the only virtue as a ruler canon Dany can be said to have after the mess in Slaver's Bay is good intentions, sadly the sort the road to Hell is paved with.
If used properly, Dragons + Unsullied + backing of the Red God's clergy would have been an absolutely amazing political tool. Oh, the things she could have done with unaissailable military power and the world's greatest PR engine ...

But she was incompetent when she should have been competent, squeamish when she should have been cold-hearted, and even worse: focused on ******* Westeros.

Pretty much the only virtue as a ruler canon Dany can be said to have after the mess in Slaver's Bay is good intentions, sadly the sort the road to Hell is paved with.
In the book version I would at least add some willingness to learn and listen to others to that.
Maybe she could be a good ruler eventually.
But it's unlikely the world will give her the time.

GoT canon Dany is pretty much a lost cause though.

I would like to add that S8E3 managed to be both great and yet murdered any and all hype for the remaining episodes.

[X] Arrange a meeting at once so that Lucan has little chance of interfering
-[X] Ask Roland to meet with us immediately. If Lucan caanot be expected to honor a parlay, we will simply have one without his knowledge.
-[X] Send Leto to SD to gather everyone available around a Scrying Mirror and prepare for heavy combat. They will Scry Yrael. If he gives the signal to attack, they will all immediately Teleport to his location. He will only give the signal if Lucan breaks the Parley and Viserys casts a attack spell in response.
-[X] Inform the Deva of this arrangement and apologize for the implied threat, but you do need a reassurance that this Parley arranged in good faith does not turn into an ambush on you.
-[X] Ask the Deva calmly what he is doing here, why he supports a man who turns brother against brother, not as a figure of speech, but literally.
-[X] Ask him why he helps to pave the ground for a bloody civil war that will weaken Westeros while the enemies are at the gates. The Illithid have turned Old Town into a testing ground for their abominations, the Baatezu are tempting one lord after another and in the far north, death itself stirs. So what exactly does he think Lucan is achieving with this?
