For the foundation of our future surveillance state the wargs shall be forgotten for now. We can alway ask Bloodraven to find us some orphans in the North with the potential.

[X] Preparations beforehand -egoo/Goldfish edition
-[X] Have the Children of the Forest, the Leshys, the Treants, Scarbrand, and Reva and Liset all work together in planting a godswood of Weirwoods covering a few dozen acres centering around the Tree of the Dawn Age, essentially making a forest of nothing but Weirwoods.
-[X] Have your druids and the Children of the Forest take the chance to plant rare and unique trees around the island to be grown in full as a side-effect of the island-wide ritual. In particular on the far side of the island plant a small forest of Ironwood Trees that can later be harvested and maintained at your liesure. Also try for as many Goldenheart Trees as you can manage.
-[X] Invite several additional people to witness the ritual.
--[X] Any governors who would like to attend (Amrelath, Relath, Riz'Neth, Wyla, etc.)
--[X] Dalla of the Mountain Clans
--[X] The visiting Thenns
-[X] Tree of the Dawn Age
--[X] CL 20 Hallow Effect
---[X] Secondary Effect 1: Magic Circle Against Evil
---[X] Secondary Effect 2: Sacred Fox's Cunning — Skill and ability checks.
---[X] Secondary Effect 3: Greater Age Resistance — Ignore all Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution penalties gained from middle age, old age, and venerable age.
---[X] Secondary Effect 4: Keep Watch
---[X] Bonus Boon 1: Getting the Hammer of the Waters as a Mythic Spell on our Runestaff of the Old Gods (unique opportunity)
---[X] Bonus Boon 2: Use the bones of the Ancient Green Dragon as a focus to call it back as a Zomak guardian for the Tree of the Dawn Age, with the possibility of restoring it to true dragonhood through research in the future
---[X] Bonus Boon 3: Make Reva and Liset true Greenseers

I think Keep Watch is better for SD in the long run.

... @Duesal, there's a bandwagon on the loose.
Is there no convincing you that Keep Watch is better as a 4th effect for DA!Tree?

I want people to sleep so that we can manifest a god of dreams along the highways.

But ei, productivity.

Why exactly do we want that again, except for being shiny? I really can't think of any case where we would need a huge area devastation effect that wouldn't be covered by Mythic Doom. And to add to that, we don't really want to wreck large areas of the Imperium.

Honestly, I'm largely of the same opinion.
But!

Do we have any better choices here?
No, really, nobody seems to be coming up with anything :/

If nothing else, it will wreak havoc upon any Efreeti force.

EDIT: And it's a once-in-a-lifetime too.

Beyond having more than a dozen medium to high level PCs on hand, along with another Dragon, the Harbinger, the Heralds, Arcanum, etc., I would surround the entire area in layered Forbiddance effects, have Dany spend days over the past month in Half-Celestial form in order to layer it in Hallow effects, and maybe finish it off with some Refusal spells to keep anything with magical power from intruding into the sacrificial area, or escaping it.
Does nobody want to create the basic structure for a mythal anymore? Something we could later expand on, but that would be backed by divine mojo against disjunctions? It would be perfect to create massive wards for our capital, and to grant access to convenient magical effects to our people!
Nope.

I'm still in the middle of sacrifice wrangling, but to answer this:
1. This would be limited in range like the regular Shadow of the Doom is, not destroying continents.
2. This is an exclusive reward we will never see again.

Agreed.

I would much prefer the staff being able to create a super powered Anticold Sphere, one which also hedges out Undead and Fey. Maybe Aberrations, too.

You guys decide what reward you want, then.

I really want Hammer of the Waters since this is the only shot to get it but I'm not married to the idea.

I'll get back to the sacrifices.

Yeah, I don't really fancy the Hammer of the Waters

Its not like it actually helped anyone but the future pirates :V
Eh, it's not that bad.

That's a WMD-spell, and I'm always up for those...

But it's also something that will have effects uniquely different from those our enemies know us for and expect us to use.

*wants to bludgeon Noodle or Timmie in the faces with Bludgeoning/Epic damage*
