"The point was being subtle. "
Damn. We are over-running the month again.
@DragonParadox, could we backdate the remaining quarterfinals and one "interview" to the 29th?
I've wanted to broadcast the swearing in of the first members of the 3rd Legion in Tolos.
Added to the plan.I would rather ask them if they would be amenable to have Bear Island serve as the harbour of a few whaling ships that are totally unrelated to us.
We can easily set him up with a PfE item, healing belt, magic weapon and magic armor. Seems fair enough to me.
So looking forward to the upcoming Team Ringer vs Team Arcanum fight, how would you guys feel about Asha asking to borrow some stuff from your armory for Walder? She feels that him going against them with no magic equipment would make him almost more of a liability than help.
I've never really thought much about it and my science knowledge is weak, but barring extreme supernatural explanations, Planetos must have some sort of oddly eccentric orbit and/or erratic axial tilt.
Unusually dense planetary crust/mantle nearer to the surface on one "side" of the planet?
Ugh, my ignorance shows...
Huh. I wasn't aware that we have transformer armor...Asha is planing to ask for the loan of a Valyrian steel sword and the Reinforced Segmented Dread-Wing Full plate so he would have some means of flight (as one of the rest of them do).
That's fine with me, if Team Arcanum doesn't have an issue with it.Asha is planing to ask for the loan of a Valyrian steel sword and the Reinforced Segmented Dread-Wing Full plate so he would have some means of flight (as one of the rest of them do).
We've had it for a while now, but haven't found anyone to give it to quite yet.Huh. I wasn't aware that we have transformer armor...
Reminder here that all of Team Arcanum can fly and that Mereth is the worst flyer of them.
I'm not sure if Walder should really go from landbound muggle to swimming with the Dire Sharks like that. His maneuverability (Average) means that Mereth (Good) and Nuri (Perfect) can tear him to confetti without issue, especially with his armor bonus being halved in flight.
Giving him a spare Launcher seems like a better idea against aerial targets.
I'm generally fine with handing it out, but sending someone without aerial combat experience to fight Team Arcanum in what amounts to chainmail is one of those ideas that will look hilariously bad in hindsight. We've had it for a while now, but haven't found anyone to give it to quite yet.
My signature has an up to date list of our armory's current contents, broken down by type.

Wouldn't an eccentric orbit mean that winter would come and go at a constant rate? Even if it lasted years it would be timed rather than the mess of random years it is in original cannonYou know I've always been confused why people find the whole eternal winter thing in westeros so weird. Yeah, it can't happen on a planetary scale, but surely an incredible eccentric orbit around the star would do the trick.
