I should have known this would be misinterpreted.

I'm not saying to put Viserys on a research action. I'm saying, like we did with resurrecting Amrelath, I want Viserys there at the end of it. He doesn't have to do any of the prerequisite work.
 
With Argo, Lohos, Koron and Soft Strider still free, how about my suggestion of sending them north? They could escort the Thenn back home and establish first contact with the Giants on the way. That's something we haven't looked into forever.

The Heart is misbehaving now. Sending someone who understands it to help settle it down is a strategic level choice. The Wyrmling is a side project. I know which one I consider more important.

The Thenns aren't going to be moving right away. They've got a lot of cleaning up to do at the Thennlands beyond simply packing up supplies.

Instead of having them escort the Thenn, have them get started raiding each and every one of the barrows in the Thennlands and recovering all artifacts and collecting corpses for us. When they're done we can collect what they got, and replace them with stronger PCs to actually begin escorting the Thenns south.

Well, we could send Amrelath too, but I've got the feeling that will blow up in our faces.

I'm open for other suggestions, since I genuinely don't know what to do with that bunch with their usual support being on the Yi-Ti expedition.

No, I meant escorting the delegation we got in SD back to the Magnar. Like hell we will have 4,000 people trudge through Other Central on foot.

We will pick them up with the Moonchaser.

Helping the Thenns clear out the old barrows in the Thennlands should be fine, and would vastly accelerate getting the Thenns south of the Wall. Those barrows need to be completely cleared out before they start moving.

There are some minor barrows south of the Wall, right? Things Bloodraven said wouldn't be a challenge to us, but still need to be dealt with?

Send them there.

That sounds good and up their alley. I'm sending Amrelath with them for additional firepower and to get him used to work with minions. Some leadership experience will be good for him.

Wait, you wanted to make them walk back to the Thennlands on foot? Why? :???: Just have the Thenns stay in Sorcerer's Deep and keep learning magic or whatever, then take them back home with additional support when we get more sacrifices. We have a steady stream of cultists.

It also puts a relatively apolitical force in the North for us, getting rid of little things that go Other in the night, hopefully before they get worse and try for Winterfell again. There's, as I expect you can see, a political angle to this.

Simple. Talking with other tribes on the way. Put the word out there that there is some crazy dragon who is handing out warm, arable land to anyone who wants some.


@Goldfish, since I'm "The Great Compromiser", I've shuffled the Tyrosh Scholarium action to support the Naathene branch in butterfly research, freeing up Anu to begin working on the Forge of Creation.

From the fights he was apparently using abilities only available to an Oracle 3 at minimum. He's definitely getting useful. And he even has a VS Greataxe.

For getting third place he also gets a suit of +1 armor. He just needs a bit of basic gear like a Healing Belt and Ring of PfE and he'll be good to go.
 
Actually, you know, now that we've hit the melee finals and they're done, I feel it is time for a question long awaited.

@DragonParadox can we have a Small Council interlude please? Please?
