That amounts to the same, since my list is meant as suggestions for her. New Ghis in particular is a place where she would indeed be useful, but I could see her objecting on basis of distance and local culture.

[] Offer Oberyn the Count title for Golden Fields, the by far most fertile area in the upper Rhoyne and arguably his ancestral lands. Once the area is expanded, he would also be the prime candidate for the Governorship of the Rhoyne.
-[] If he accepts, Teleport over to Sunspear and polite inform Doran that you looted his brother. :V
 
@Azel Why not Draconys for Oberyn?

We could use a PC-level ruler there, Yrael is busy along the Demonroad and with the Ghiscari troubles. So having the 10+ guy sitting near the Valyrian border would help keep it safe from gribblies.

I'm actually eyeballing the Misfits for there, as Oberyn alone is not really a match for the more magical gribblies there.

Speaking of Oberyn and his bastards, I wonder what the Westerosi naming conditions will be for a bastard from the Stepstones...

Skips (as in skipping stones)? Straights? Deep? Middle? Gallows?
 
@DragonParadox, if this goes through, can we assign tasks to Oberyn or will he be mostly busy administering his lands and doing random things (and people) to pass the time?

Because there is this little trip to the astral plane...
