@DragonParadox I have a question that I figure should be IC knowledge based on information the Shaitan Vizier agreed to provide to us about the City of Brass.
Are the Efreeti able to detect and/or prevent the opening of a portal Gate within their city? For example, if we created a Permanent Greater Demiplane, then connected it to our front business in the City of Brass with a Permanent portal, to what degree would the Efreeti be able to detect or interfere with it?
Is it even possible?

I mostly like keeping it as a private collection to show off to various dignitaries, but I wouldn't mind building a museum in the future of "This is real and wants to kill you," that's open to the public. Granted, with a lesser selection.

There are certainly mages with the right spells to look for such things but it's not automatic.

That's fair its too bad we can't show how much viserys has killed to the realm at large. Many would probably think it fake though. How do you feel about during the festival at least once coming in by flying in our dragon form and then transforming back into a human?

We have daily flights in our dragon form if we're not busy. We fly with Dany who turns into a Mercury Dragon, and even Rhaella who turns into one of her wyrmling shapes. Viserys is very much not shy about letting his citizens know he's a dragon.

The trade with the Fire Whales alone is likely to bring in millions at some point, yes sufficiently rich merchant-lords are basically states without land, but the whole point was that the guy you were talked with didn't want to rule, and just because you have a lot of money and power, don't mean you can't avoid being a ruler.
Power implies responsibility which at a fundamental level is what being a ruler is. The more power one has the more people you have to look after.

Not alone, though they would help. Some kind of active shielding would be needed however.

Edit: Also, where do you keep track of our Wayfinders? I want to send 2 of them along for the Yi-Ti trip and I would need another one soon for the 1st Airwing, assuming we want to send them to the PoA.

Mage's Private Sanctum goes without saying. I'm just not sure if it and a lead containment chamber will be enough to hide the portal. That's fine, though. We don't necessarily need the portal connection right away. We're going to have four plus months to conduct the infiltration, assuming we are able to establish the front business next month. If some additional work needs to be done to adequately shield a portal, we can handle it.
