Nice fight for Valeana, though to bring down the HP quickly I would have expected more Wraithstrike/Combust combinations.
But if she doesn't think that's fair she can save it for the next undead or so she fights.

The builds themselves look really neat and fluffy, especially for a pair of male Drow assassins. I can see how, through proper preparation and teamwork, they were able to take down a Drow Priestess powerful enough, or with enough favor from Lolth, to curse them so harshly.

Rather than cheesing the floating feat to get the spells needed, why not do something different than anything seen in the quest so far? They could have both made extensive use of Inscribe Magic Tattoo to gain additional abilities. Several of the example tattoos provided would work really well for the pair, but magic tattoos can also duplicate the effects of Wondrous Items, though with double the normal cost because they are slotless. The Chameleon could easily have a tattoo of 3/Day Hunter's Eye, another of Vinestrike, etc.
They could kill a Drow priestess easily, actually. Simply get close through magic-assisted Stealth, and then full attack (possibly at range or under Greater Invisibility) with poisoned weapons. Use Luhix, for example: taking 2 hits in a 24-hour period forced you to make a DC 25 Fort save (at -6 due to rogues feats, with the DC probably further increased through Chameleon spells) or die instantly from overwhelming agony.
Hell yeah.
Now Luhix costs 2000gp per dose, but it's made from plants from the Abyss that aren't described as magical - and so a Drow capable of casting Minor Creation should be able to create an awful lot of it, lasting 1 hour/level!
If Luhix is ruled magical, then he can use black lotus extract: it's DC 20 (before adjustment by feats and spell) and deals 3d6 Con damage per dose as initial damage.

So yes, a decent poison-user absolutely can kill a Drow Priestess. His buddy would have to dispel her item of poison immunity, but that's why they're a team!

As for why I didn't use Magic Tattoo... Because in 3.5 Magic Tattoos are something else, something far weaker. I didn't even think of making this a Pathfinder build :/
Well, I'll think it through. No reason I can't add it in, after all: the Chameleon has every single crafting feat as needed thanks to his amazing floating feat ability!
Will be posting full builds when I get home from work.

Uh peeps? We kinda forgot about a vote?

I agree with letting the few months behind younger twin find his footing in SD first.

@DragonParadox, will we get the info about Sseth on the frontpage or will that be included with NewTor's book?

I'll probably include it in the book so it is better integrated.
...How does Sseth connect to matters of Shadow-empire, Rakshasa, and their quasi-deity-overlord, again?

:/

I'd rather just get him written-in OOC (seeing as Yss already told us everything IC) and be done with him (for a time being)

Or those lotus leshies riding briar wolves and drakenbeasts while poisoning Lucan with the spell slot stealing poison.

At 7HD...

The leshies alone could probably kick the chosens asses.

Especially the smiths chosen. Who is apparently a wuss.
Debatable. If one of the chosen is decently levelled and has strong AoE spells... Well, let's say that I would trust Vee to win in a fight against 70 7HD Druids. And the Chosen of the Father seems to like summoning powerful Celestials.

I'm not saying that the Leshies have no chance, but I don't think that they're an obvious winner either.

I've been digging around for some fancy stuff to abuse horribly incorporate into our ongoing war against medieval stasis efforts to improve our realm.

Apparently the Underdark has some very fancy rocks: Realms Helps: Exploring The Underdark

Darkstone - Dims light in the vicinity. Might have applications as a coating for stealth armor designed for night operations. If we assume that it absorbs the energy of the light in it's vicinity, it could be used to make very efficient solar heat collectors.

Photogenerative Rock - Grows when exposed to light. Together with piezo elements, it could maje dirt cheap solar panels. This is way beyond our technology level right now, but something for those omakes set in the far future.

Photostatic Rock - Can replay events that recently happened nearby. Give it some research and we might have a magitek video recorder. Incorporate some Serpent Stone for audio and we are set.

Slickstone - It act's as if permanently under the effect of Grease. The engineering applications are enormous.
