While it isn't the nicest thing, it is responsible thing. It gives us more insight into the tribe politics as some things aren't spoken about in the open.
if it becomes an issue we should deal with it then. It hasn't been made into an issue so it's probably not and as mentioned it's just plain rude.

[X] Plan: Rebuild and Expand

  • Martial is fairly straightforward. We immediately need the army back at decent strength, and we need the watchtowers on the south. Everything else is nice but not immediately vital.
  • Diplomacy is a difficult choice since all of the options have strong reasons to go for them, but I'd go for Neighborly since that's the most immediate way of cementing our relations.
  • Stewardship has Tomb of Fallen Heroes as the obvious choice. For the other one, I think Lumberjack is our best bet. Imperial Brew is a gamble, Settling could help with the yaks a bit but it would be fairly minor, and we've already taken at least three different farming actions. Lumberjack's been sitting there since the start of the game and having mass production of wood would be really useful for our industrial base.
  • Learning has some good options, but I'm leaning towards the options that enable mass production over the options that improve the quality of the things that we can't mass produce yet (gunpowder needs cannons, ships need wood).
  • Intrigue is a difficult choice, but I'm leaning toward the south. We can take diplomacy to lessen the chances of bad stuff from the yaks, but there's not a lot we can do in regards to the south.
  • Personal is a choice of which option not to take. I'm leaning towards postponing Small Blades, since we know the kids will outgrow those but we know we'll be on the front lines again and if we can find anything in the archives at all it could be quite helpful.

[X] Plan Industrialization

-[X] The Peregrine Line-Watchtowers
-[X] Licking Wounds
-[X] The Neighborly Thing to Do
-[X] Tomb of Fallen Heroes
-[X] I'm a Lumberjack and I'm OK
-[X] Coke-Fired Blast Furnaces
-[X] Cannon Foundry
-[X] Into the Storm
-[X] Getting Swole
-[X] Combing the Archives

I think someone needs to get an Omake bonus on Into the storm.

Because if it fails, it's very likely that Sombra will mind-control those spies and interrogate useful intel out of them.

[X] Plan: Rebuild and Expand

You'd make three daggers, will correct that. And, honestly, at this particular moment I'm struggling to come up with ideas for personal actions. Gabriella's already pregnant, the kids are too young to get really involved in the family business in any significant capacity, and most of the ideas I do have require some other event take place first.

I dunno, maybe we can convert a personal action to one of the other actions on the board? Not sure how well that'd go.

Treasury Reserves: 2710

Net Income:
4320

[X] Plan: The Southern Wall

[ ] The Neighborly Thing to Do: The Yaks came to your assistance when the shadow king sought to invade your lands, and their warriors fought and died alongside your own. You don't know if you can repay them for that, but you can try. Gather some steel armor, weapons, tools, and assorted trade goods, and distribute them to the four clans. Such an action should soften the blow of losing so many of their number, and foster better relations with the clans, reinforcing the importance of unity against threats to your mutual security. Cost: 1000. Time: One Year. Reward: Better relations with Yak Clans, Yaks gain access to steel tools, armor and weapons. Chance of Success: 70%
Perhaps they'll end up with a Yak named "Blacksmith," in honor of the makers of steel, if you know what I'm getting at.

Blacksmith=Temujin in Mongol

I'd rather not go into debt.
Edit: Plan Changed.

If you're fine with the debt more power to you. God knows the national debt and budget IRL are meaningless numbers at this point.

Yeah, I'm just fine with going into debt now and then using actions like the steppe caravan to make up the defecit next turn.

I just cant see the point of southern wall plan since We really don't need cannon ships, spying on our neighbors, or doing the small arms thing.

Especially the spying on our neighbors part

Oh! Also, even if we go into debt now, since we'll clear most of the expensive actions off the board this turn, we will most likely just be able to make it back anyway next turn.

Expect that we will have less money next turn anyway and will have to fight to scrap a decent budget.
Even with the caravan, add to that that Questor has clearly stated that other civs might find us and then they will have a roll. I'm a lot more comfortable knowing that i have my budget full.

Honestly - just because I want to finally get rid of "I'm a Lumbjack and I'm OK".

uh... you can just have, 'hang out with family' as an option. I mean they way you describe it seems like we have very little family time. even royalty need family time and stuff.
