Sandor vs. Leto
Sandor vs. Leto
*crosses fingers*
Sandor vs. Leto

This would just be too perfect a setup for a recruitment pitch to him.

I would say uh... Oberyn is either still 11, or maybe 12.

Grazdan is... forget. 7?

Oberyn has a distinct advantage either way. Grazdan doesn't have NO gear, but Oberyn has specially tailored magic items and he's higher leveled.

"The princess? The fucking princess," he snarled. "And what do you think she would do? Scream and faint at the sight of me most like. Do you know what..."
ahahaha, Dany's gonna propose to cut his face off and grow it back.

..what is the most terrifying monster she has faced so far? .. the Ice Dragon? Tiamat? Gibbering Mouther?

I want to reward him for being able to get Moonsong to shut up. I never thought I'd see the day she actually agrees to something like that.
Well we can try and get Oberyn to let him join in killing Gregor, and considering he's a rather high level PC, if he agree to work for us, we can tell him about the fact resurrection is a thing, so he can try and raise the money, for resurrecting his little sister.

@DragonParadox, what kinds of services are the Westerosi commissioning while in Sorcerer's Deep?

+1 Arms and Armor? Minor magic items? Minor divinations from Yss? Trying to hire Scholarum mages as retainers? Poking at the Weirwood Heart Trees? Checking out the alchemical goods?

Oberyn is gonna eat Grazdan alive. I have a new favourite to win this whole thing. Jesus he's strong.

Most of them have commissioned the first, if the have the money, a small portion dared the goodswood and an even smaller one Yss' temple. No one tried to hire away a scholarum mage for the same reason no on tried to hire away Golden Shields from Tywin.

Moonsong is no mage of the 5th circle though.

She can only do 2nd circle and only Bard spells at that.

Contextual knowledge of what a mage of such level can do to a person can do should inspire wariness when confronting a mage. Moonsong might not be string enough to do the big bad shit if she wanted, but he does not know that, that's why he should have been more polite :).

The fact moonsong is only casting level two spells is a relatively minor factor imo.

Moonsong: "This is the day your ancestor RUED the day he messed with Captain Moonsong!"
Martyn Clegane: "WHO?!"

Oh, you mean I'm not mentioned as the dreaded fate your family should fear most in your childhood stories?

Well, the insults just keep coming, don't they?

RESTITUTION SHALL BE MINE!

Because there is only one Salladhor Saan in the world, so the only one with the balls to try has already done so?

Grazdan will put up a good showing nonetheless, despite being level seven compared to Oberyn being level 11 or more. We should have done the standard Goldfish Equipment for him. I think he even has his own Valyrian Steel weapon, IIRC.

@DragonParadox, out of curiosity, have any of the visitors decided it's worth staying in Sorcerer's Deep and sending for their families to join them here? The standard of living should be far, far higher than the norm, especially when looking at the Westerosi who have visited King's Landing before.

Pretty much yeah, though it must be noted that Saan at least had the cover of being your vassal. He is bold not suicidal.

Not beyond the hedge knights who swore to you. Landed nobles are rather attached to their lands.

In that case I would bet on Leto, though.
Not sure.

Leto is very much a ranged build.
She is still tough and hard to hit, but in terms of damage and hitting in melee she is suboptimal since she didn't spend any feats on it, at all.

Without using her wings and bow she might loose that one, at least if Clegane has a good build and gets lucky enough to get some decent hits in.

A stock Erinyes, assuming Pathfinder stats, hits at +15/+10. Leto hits at two higher than that simply due to Advanced, not counting gear or anything else. And there's also their entangle ability.

"Let's talk about it - what did my ... ancestor do?"

*Moonsong realising she might be taking loosing one match a little bit far*
"Information does not come for free. Your ignorance is your own problem. And the debt of your ancestor's sins already weigh mightily upon your house!"

*Rolls an NAT 20 on Bluff,*

*Is now a "dearly cherished guest" and "delightful companion" to the Clegane house, and they even get to know the pleasures of learning 86 different titles to which they will to refer to Moonsong, the appropriate one depending on a chart so convoluted than it would cause a quantum computer to develop awareness, just so it could cry
