@DragonParadox, two points should be enough for an educated guess.

[X] Plan Framing Device
-[X] Let Dany cast a Divination about the following plan to ensure it goes off fine.
-[X] Viserys uses the Wayfinder now and then again near the room with Pycelle to triangulate Robert and to make an educated guess where he is.
-[X] Disguise yourself as Varys and approach the room they are in on foot.
-[X] Politely ask Joffrey about his wellbeing and how the lessons are.
-[X] Tell him that Robert has send for Joffrey and you came for that reason and because you wanted to talk with Pycelle.
-[X] Once you are alone with Pycelle, do the Turtle Beam and stuff him in a bag.
-[X] Viserys goes on to Chatayas to start the ritual while Dany loots the dragonbones in the cellars before following.

I am this close to losing my fucking shit.

We were going to mindrape an 8 year old to implicate Varys and Stannis, now, rather than do something WAY less complicated and WAY less potentially harmful. WERE JUST GOING TO IGNORE IT!?
First of, Myrcella us currently 3, not 8.
Second, that we send Joffrey to Robert means that the whole thing will be noticed, implicating Varys.

Why can't we just bust into the room disguised as Varys, a random Devil, or a Mindflayer, turtle Pycelle, Deep Slumber the shitbiscuit, and head on out?
An overt attack would make them tighten security far more then a mysterious, but non-threatening disappearance will.

Also, casually strolling right into your enemies inner sanctum right under the nose of the Kingsguard is way more badass then storming in, turtle-guns blazing.

Though @Azel I have to ask why Roberts behest? Or is it due to the fact that trying to figure out Cersei's location via Wayfinder will trip up some anti-divination wards?

Turtle-guns blazing...

That's a glorious bit of imagery right there, dude.

Fuck it lets blow up the castle.

More and less seriously does no one want to straight up just steal the iron throne on our way out?

It's tempting, extremely so, but we can't give the game away. Our plan is to implicate Varys and remove the bastion of security that King's landing provides him as well as wreck the shit out of him mentally and then gunning him down like the prick he is.

That way even if we miss he can't come back here and simply regain his position of power, he'll have to start from the bottom (or more realistically at one of his no doubt many back up positions) putting him on the backfoot for the next attempt.

Thanks. I usually enjoy research for this quest, but mathematics is not my favorite subject area, as you guys may have guessed.:V
Think of it this way: we draw two lines (extending the compass), and see where they intersect. That's where the target is. Technically a single step should be enough to work out where the target is if we can get some very precise measurements and are good at maths, but guessing gets far easier if the distance between the place where we started our line is a respectable fraction of the distance between us and the target.
So a few minutes of walking should be enough to pinpoint a static person within the same city, but for someone on the other side of the world we'd want a far larger distance between both uses of the Wayfinder.
