Do we want to take Garin with us? I see in the minor actions plan that we want to lay a trap on their intrigue specialists when we go to visit Lord Brune. I know that Garin is currently stationed in Myr but I'm not sure if he can't take some time off of that action to help us out here. Conversely we could try taking Tyene with us if she's not too busy in Lys organizing the coup.

@Duesal so what the plan for the crown?

Give it to Lya? Queen Rhaella? Perhaps ... The Orphene king?

She has to get the army back on its feet again right now.

Talking to Jon isn't easy, it puts him at a moderately higher degree of risk than he already is, and we're kind of protective of him enough without worrying about our enemies coming near him. Pretty much any time he has come up in context of the quest and he wasn't directly in front of us or the purpose of the current update's actions, Viserys' first thought has been "they must not know of Jon!"

Secondary to that, Lyanna does not want to see us, and until we take care of that helicopter ghost-mom issue, spending any amount of time with Jon is going to be shadowed by that.

If they find out about Jon Snow civil war is the best case scenario. They must not know of Jon. At least not yet. Soon the boy will be taught by us and he shall be Rhaenys older/younger brother.

No, no, no, god no.

It's being retained as leverage against the Reach Court.

Until we know where we stand with them, it stays inside of a box, inside of a smaller box, inside of our Major Artifact pocket dimension outer-wear made from the skin of an Arch-Duke of Hell.

I can see it. He'll send letters and people will try corroborating it themselves, and those who have fae acquaintances will do so easily because the fae in general are tied to the story of the Others. The Reach Party might get a few letters, and they know the danger is real because Brandon was one lucky save away from becoming the Others' agent.

So after an initial period of confusion the pro-Fae nobles of the Reach will become aware that yes, this shit is happening, and the Night's Watch is now important. Wonder what the Lannisters will think if aid to the Watch starts flowing from the Reach of all places? They'll probably suspect we're behind it but I have no clue what they'd do in response.

I mean, if when the Lannisters fire divination at it, they'll see us at the end of the chain of reasoning. What we said caused it. And if that doesn't drive a wedge between the Lannisters and the Reach, due to Tywin being a raging moron, I don't know what will.

It's so beautiful :drevil:

It's too dangerous for anyone we care about to ever consider wearing.

We're going to be using it as a bargaining chip to force the Fey Court of the Stars to swear to us. Once that's done we might actually be able to relax around fey and shift our focus to other things.

-[X] First, create a box of Cold Iron lined with Lead and place the crown inside, then place the entire thing back in your cloak

Well, they'll see a blank, because Mind Blank. But at this point the combination of Mind Blank and Interest in the Night's Watch screams Viserys as far as they are concerned.

And this only because there isn't a fucking star in another solar system to store in the center of conveniently at-hand.
Pretty much. Our cloak is the safest place in our empire, ironic as that may be with how often we get into life-threatening fights. I'd love a panic-vault on a distant planet, though. That would be fantastic.

A panic vault in a demiplane guarded by a giant trap-lined bunker which is hidden within the mantle, guarded by a Genius Loci, with the only bypass possessed by us... stored in our pocket dimension outer-wear made from the skin of an Arch-Duke of Hell (and with a self destruct button in reserve inside of our wife's Demon Lord eyeball crown).

Miss me with that Fey Shit.

That would be somewhat more difficult to arrange.
