You know I'm pretty sure at this point we can go to the leaders of the Lyseni and tell them they can surrender to us or we'll make sure they'll have to deal with Aedon for a century, as we'll keep him alive so they can enjoy his company.

I'm pretty sure they'll give us the city at that point.

Or they'll throw everything they have at us, just because we might have a way to prolong his life.

Such a selfless act would it be...
:V

"Wait... So if we surrender without a fight you'll let us kill him, and if we don't you'll jail us, and put him into the cell next to ours? You're not a dragon you're a fucking monster!"

If we ever sacrificed Aedon, I think instead of giving us the usual reward for HD, we'd get a very angry voicemail from Bloodraven for giving the Old Gods a shitty meal.

Oh...god. We should just kill him and let someone impersonate him. I am convinced he is going to somehow still fuck it all up, even with us holding his hands.

Think about this positively, if we pull this off Azema will have unlocked the requirements for the Trickster Archetype Mythic power later.

Let's see. The Spicers are most definitely an issue for us, as they will be disloyal. Therefore, we should make Aedon a neat little coloring book the explains how to kill them all.

Wine & Steel remains a good candidate for competent Quieslings, so we should make sure that they are on our side.

Hmm, is Archon's sister the same person we dealt with in the aftermath of the whole Tree of Lys thingy?

[X] Speak to Jarlar Sanel, the unsung head of Wine and Steel, to learn more about him
-[X] Use your guise as the anonymous investor that has helped them a few months ago.
-[X] Inquire about the state of affairs, especially in regards to Aedon's army and the assassination attempt tonight.

By sheer dint of approaching him right now we basically admit to a deeper game, but that's fine. We need more intel and especially we need to see how pliable Jarlar is to our purposes.

Archon's sister needs to die right? She seems the only one with shred of competence in that faction.

What makes the Spicers(the Archon's daughter) anymore untrustworthy than Wine and Steel(Jarlar Sanel)? They both seem like the type to be as loyal as however hard the side they're on is winning.

If they can't be sure of success in rebelling against us(which they will never have), then they won't rebel.

Neither of those two are particularly more trustworthy than the other, but besides the fact that Jarlar was probably the guy who sent the assasin we're approaching this as more of a 'whittling down the factions to the absolutely necessary' tactic, and the Spicers are a liability. W&S, less so.

The Spicers stand to loose a lot when we take over and they have the influence and power to fight us for every inch.

Wine & Steel on the other hand can gain a lot by playing ball with us and they will carry the stigma of a Quiesling when Viserys raises them high in the new order, which will make it far harder for them to gather enough support to effectively oppose us in time to make a difference.

I trust neither of those two sides, but I know which one makes the better pawn.
