Actually, Platinum Helm gives:
- 3/day, as a swift action, 60 ft Frightful Presence (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + CHA)
- 60 ft Blindsense for one hour.

And these take either a feat or a sacrificed spell slot to activate.

So this cloak is widlly out of line compared to it.

And mine I got from Magic Item Compendium, which supercedes previous sources.

The MiC version also allows costs 5000 gold instead of 64000. Does take actions to activate and limits use, tho.

In any case, I think a cloak-shaped Platinum Helm along those Complete Divine lines is more than enough. Should have the accompanying price tag, tho.

I think I'd prefer the more expensive version, as long as it doesn't take too much personal crafting time.

So, 60ft Blindsight, 150ft Frightful Presence and the bonus vs Tiamat's servants that doesn't actually do much against dragons, but at least allows her to send Abishai running home mommy.

Just for the record, we are now founding both Evil Big Pharma and the Evil Military Industrial Complex.

Also, Lys will love being conquered by us once we start selling cheap contraceptives and miracle hangover cures.

If anyone is interested, here is our new Industrial Alchemy page. Production won't start till next month and won't finish until the end of that month, but the numbers are looking good. Counting labor and the reagents necessary to operate, the entire operation is only losing 3,280 IM per month before any government interference. It would be making a huge amount of money, but half of everything it produces is earmarked for government use.

@Azel Should we increase prices on the goods for sale? This should be a money-making venture for Waymar, after all.

It's making 24,000 IM per month with half of that (12,000 IM) going into Waymars coffers. I think that's fine.

No, it's losing 3280 IM per month, once labor and materials are accounted for. Is the government paying for the stuff produced in four of the facilities that aren't for sale? If so, are we paying cost or market price?

Excellent. :)

Also, Waymar is going to be filthy rich. Between his alchemy and Tyene's fashion company (I'm not recalling what else she does) they're literally going to make enough money to build a city the old-fashioned way if they want to.

That said it's far likely they just get themselves a very comfortably palace/keep and have it heavily warded. Not to mention nice magic items for them and their families.

---[X] Production Facility #8: Liquid Ice (2,250 per month, Cost: 1.6 IM each, Sales Prices: 3.2 IM each
Isn't this Cold!Achemists Fire?
--[X] Each worker will earn a wage of 6 IM per month and each Hedge Mage manager will earn a wage of 140 IM per month for a combined labor cost of 500 IM per production facility per month.
140 seems a bit much. Maybe 60? Ten times what the peons make.
--[X] Alchemical items produced by these facilities will be sold at 50% of standard D&D pricing
Why?

Yes, and we should be able to sell it to the Salamanders and Shaitan easily.

140 doesn't seem excessive to me, but I'm not set on that.

D&D pricing for Alchemical items is three times material cost, which translates to some fairly expensive stuff. We figured lowering the price point would make it more likely to sale well. That said, I do think I need to adjust the prices somewhat.

We are paying cost for everything produced in the first 4. For the company, those are a zero sum game.
