Thread Omake Policy
Alright, about time I announce this since I'm already getting omake for the new thread. The new omake policy is as follows.
1. Remaining omake rewards will somewhat carry over from the previous thread. In the interests of not breaking things, the following postsers will have the following number of omake bonuses

-2 into formations(NA), 30 successes for EPC(NA)

3. Omake points may be traded in at the following rate
1:1= Skill XP
1:10 Art successes
2:1= Attribute XP
4: No single skill or attribute can receive more than 4 omake xp in one turn cycle. No single Art can receive more than 100 bonus successes in a turn cycle. This is prevent any unfortunate runaway growth.
5. Omake XP can only be spent on arts, skills or attributes which are being trained that turn.

A spar would be alright too, but I think it would be good if we tried to branch out a bit and get to know Renxiang better.

I thought this sounded iffy, so I went back to check the math.
Our breakthroughs we in turns 37 and 40 for Spiritual and Physical, respectively. Zhengui started incubating on Week 17, and hatched on week 22. If you take the former as the start of his cultivation, then 40 weeks from that would be week 62, or equivalently the middle of month 3 in the new system. We are at the start of month 1 and Zhengui seems close to starting his breakthrough, but we don't know how long he needs to sleep to make it through - so overall it doesn't seem clear whether he will beat our time.
That said, I think it is pretty clear that he's not moving at double the rate that we are; if anything, our speeds appear roughly comparable.

there was a good reason we didnt muscle our way into meizhen's and CRX's knitting sessions. it still applies.
is this lesser cousin part of the retainer clan every main family bai gets to choose a servant from? IIRC meizhens offer would have been that if she won the tournament, she would be able to use the favor her aunt would give her to forego choosing a servant from that clan and instead choose LQ as a personal servant?
anything else that could fit?

Don't forget, spirits in general seem to improve at a superior rate when they are bonded with a Cultivator. That's her progress /without/ a Cultivator bond making her more... flexible.

This makes me glad we decided to spend time just hanging out with her. Good to reinforce that this is a friendship rather than just a business relationship. Shame about her parents being forced to realise their inability to protect their daughter but the honesty is better for all three in the long run.
Heh, and of course her spiders weren't bad enough so she has rodent skeletons scuttling about too. Interesting to hear spiders seem connected to moon spirits too and good to see Zhenli look upon Ling Qi more favourably than before.
I'd worry about LQ putting her foot in it but it looks like a general sorta discontent and she seemed sufficiently encouraging, regarding Suyin earning her place, to make up for it.
This has nothing to do with a barbarian plot does it? Not sure I remember a sink hole. The abnormal impurity filled core seems like it could be tied to that kinda corruption.

If we want a friendship with Renxiang rather than just have her as our boss, I think it's a good idea to do more than things LQ dislikes but has to learn. Sparring's pretty much her favourite bonding activity, CRX ought be honoured.

How do those points translate relative to the individual Formations, btw?
