Damage is more than twice the average, and half again as high as a Mature Adult Red, which PF considers CR 15. Lose the two claw attacks and lower strenght by six, and it comes to a little over 100 average damage, so you are at about 1.5x average damage for CR 15. This also brings the attack bonus down a bit.

So it's top tier still, by crazy PF standards. In 3.5 I'd say it's CR 16-17.
Done. Forgot to check the damage output.
If it already hadn't a super strong melee, I'd say make Fire Aura give its attacks 1d6 fire damage, but that's not necessary in the least here, even if it's logical, and cool. You could give it this effect if you reduced the bites to 1.0x strenght instead of 1.5x. Assuming you tone strenght down to 30, you'd gain about 6.5 damage against non-fire immune foes and lose about 5 against those who only take half due the searing, which seems neat.

I'd maybe have everyone attacking it take 1d6 fire every time they hit it with natural or non-reach weapons, compensates for its lower HP.
I already slashed his BAB to 3.5 values, as PF told me he should get BAB +20. Toned down STR to 33 and added the additional fire damage, as that should mostly balance each other out with the lowered BAB.
Will save is extraordinarily low.
Forgot his WIS bonus. Though there isn't terribly much stuff that targets Will-saves that could actually affect him in the first place.
I'd lose the Fireball and make the Firebrand 3/day.
Done.
How long do that temp HP last? How high can it go?
Do you have a suggestion? I think +50% is the customary limit.
I would put a longer cooldown on Inferno. Maybe 3d4?
Do you mean for the breathweapon? As Inferno is 1/day anyway.
It should have 92 skill points. Are they all there?
I only caclulated with 80.
Also, it definitely should have maxxed Knowledge (Law).
And here we have something to sink them into. Going to lower some other stuff a bit.

What do you think about adding Frightful Presence? It's nothing that would really affect relevant foes, but it would scare off chaff.
Also @Azel Pounce is a special attack, not a feat. You can lose Alertness for Hover instead of mucking about with Aerial Alacrity.
Switched Pounce for Hover. Unless you have a good feat to take it's place?

Left in AA though, as it also gives a few very minor bonuses and increases his speed for a short while.

It would be really odd to have a passenger compartment in a construct that has "constantly leaking Searing fire" as a feature.
So it'll be even more of a surprise when a squad of Inquisition heavy hitters hop out of the Harbinger to round up the lawbreakers! :p

Yeah, can only reuse them after 3d4 rounds.

2 per HD, +2 INT, times 23 (as he has 20 HD).

Nono, seriously, STR 30 and the fire attack is already pushing very much, and the fire attack should only get in if the bites don't deal 1.5x STR.

15 BAB + 10 STR comes out to +25 attack bonus, which is plenty good.

I'd go with:
Melee 3 bite +25 (2d8+10 + 1d6), 2 wings +20(1d8+5 + 1d6), tail slap +20 (2d6+5 + 1d6)

Where 1d6 is searing fire damage.

You gave him +80 bonus HP from construct size... why? It should be +40. His DR is supposed to compensate for his low HP. His should be 155.

I suppose you could up his HD to 24 or so, bringing his HP to 177, I believe. Would up the BAB by 3, bringing it to the sort-of-too-high +28 to hit.

I'd probably make his DR/Valyrian Steel, if he is made out of the stuff. I wouldn't change the DR if you upped his HD.

His BAB is pretty anemic for his CR. A CR 14 PF Adult Red has BAB +17 and STR 31. Even a CR 13 Iron Golem has BAB +18 with STR 32.
All that damage means squat if he doesn't hit anything at his CR and you can't just buff him.

To get his HP closer to the suggested value without adding even more HD. Most PF constructs have grossly higher HD at their CR then what the table suggests.

Well, I certainly could.

Golem, Gold – d20PFSRD

Used this guy for reference.

Thing is, it doesn't really matter what his BAB is, he makes six naturals attacks (if you axe the claws). What matters in the end is his total attack bonus.

Most golems have a lot of HD, because they need to have a reasonably decent HP as the one real way of facing them is melee. It confers them pretty high attack values, but it's important noting they usually only make the two slams.

Seriously though... please please please let us find a massive Valyrian Steel door or portcullis or something in Valyria. The Larder cannot keep up with the amount needed to make the Emissary and Bigger Fish and such. If Volantis gets to have an entire portcullis of Valyrian Steel, one can only hope that the more important places in the capital city itself like the various temples, important jails, and residences of the Forty Families will have doors of the stuff.

If we want massive quantities of Valyrian Steel, we should look for the Leyline Pylons.

Aebys' tales speak of great spikes of dragon-steel driven into the stone beneath Valyria, piercing veils of molten stone to channel the power of the earth's fiery blood to the dragonlords' will.

On another note, do people think we should consider waking up Malarys' devil hating colleague from his nap and recruit him to our cause? Unlike before we have lots to offer in general and we could use a high level inquisitor doing stuff like that in background to further delegate matters

You have my vote on this. The Little Valyrians will be ecstatic at least. More so, that we still don't know who the hell is the Fourth Essarian sleeper!!!!

Are there any specific preparations we need to make before setting out for Valyria?

Should we bring one of the Iron Golems? Maybe bottle the Seeker? A squad of Minotaurs?

Anything else?

@Goldfish should we bring Argus since he is our highest level minotaur and has natural ability to deal with any mazes we come across? Also would be nice to bring him along in general to interact with him.

Not sure we should bring Seeker unless there is a benefit from doing so, like he acts as a key to security systems or something but our bloodline is better than that.

Maybe bring Fury for ability to see through things in general and fly easily in environment since used to hell?

Argos doesn't have any available days for us to assign.

That's exactly why I figured it would be a good idea to bring the Seeker, on the off chance we come across something that responds favorably to such Bio-Constructs.

We're bringing three Erinyes; Mereth, Leto, and our future Paladin of Law.

[X] Place the Seeker in a Smoky Confinement bottle and take one of the newly enchanted Whispering Braziers which have not yet been assigned.
-[X] From the armory, equip Dany and Tyene with the Staves of Swarming Insects, Mereth with the Wand of Dispel Magic we acquired from the recently captured Erinyes, and Richard with the Minor Cloak of Displacement.
-[X] Finish distributing the newly enchanted equipment to everyone going on the expedition to Valyria. Full list of relevant gear can be found HERE.

Guys, we need votes. If you don't like Goldfish's plan, feel free to make your own proposals.

Who else is hyped for Valyria? :D
