Danar casts spells as a level 13 Bard, right? He has access to level 5 spells and can use boots of the wide earth. But we aren't crafting those for him unless he swears fealty ot pays for them in devil-corpses!

Why is sworn fealty so important? Can't we just have this be implicit and/or he can owe us? Boots sooner are better because with teleport, they can get so much more done! And personally, I'd rather not push for an oath now. We met the man, and he's no westerosi knight to swear just because we saved his soul.

@Goldfish, if you do any sort of crafting shenanigans for this dude, plz make the boots first :D (if he can use them)

Why would they be offended at having a safe place to rest, recuperate, and raise their daughter? They already know Westeros isn't safe and an infant is not the best traveling companion.

Implication that their parenting choices are bad. It's true, but it is the best they could do, considering the fact they need to fight for a world for her to live in, and to say, or hint "you're doing this wrong" when they have probably agonised about their choices would go down badly.

Framing it as "now I can help you not risk so much, would you like a safe place as I can manage to have set aside. Also, (probably) the best damm education on this plane in the future" would be much more platable, imo

True. Very true.

No need to Glamer it if they have a (far cheaper!) Greater Ribbon of Disguise.

Glammered can also make the armour a dress or normal clothing without having it sounding like armour unlike a visual illusion from the disguise self effect, and alter self does not affect clothing, and you don't have time to switch into your armour when ambushed. So it's needed for sneaking (and social interactions) and in case of ambush, espically during those tense social combats.

Sudden devil hit squad is a constant possibility.

But the ribbons and healing belts and ofe and boots of far travel are far far more important.

On a totally unrelated note, @Goldfish, @Duesal, have we finished supplying Night Watch with supplies, like we wanted to?

I remember us making a single big-ass shipment and giving them some gold, but we wanted to do as much as that at least once, and give them a shitton of obsidian too.

Yes, note to self - dig obsidian after bey is killed off.

I'm pretty sure we did. We definitely dropped off Hardened Dragonglass. We got around ten tons of it from Dragonstone.

ah yes, I remember that now.
The money though...

Ah, whatever.
We can always give them more stuff, and raise some trees while at it.
Item-side of Larder looks pretty good right now.

Hmmm...
@DragonParadox, theoretically, would us raising a Heart Tree with 3 stacked effects of Control Temperature, or even an entirely new fluff-based anti-Other effect (like Cerulean sign, but Old Gods and against Others), make it seriously harder for Others and their servants to operate if raised just beneath the wall?

Just throwing ideas at a wall here.
(Pun unintentional but kinda satisfying)

Have to wonder how that is working out in general in dealing with servants of the Others, don't they basically burst into flames and are reduced to ashes when they are attacked with dragonglass? Having tons of arrowheads of the stuff will certainly make defending the Wall from them easier, they will need non-cold touched being to get around that weakness.

I think it's just that Others and possible Winterborn have a DR 10/Dragonglass or Dragonsteel, making them effectively invincible against mortal weapons. And that people who do manage to hit them with the right weapons are PCs, which explains the insta-kills we see.

So basically we gave a bunch of NPCs specialist weapons that insta-kill a type of enemy they are most likely to engage since they put all their power into being immune to all weapons but a certain type they deemed too rare to be a threat? Seems like we really fucked that up for them. :p

...beforesleep thoughts are the best thoughts.

We can sacrifice Seven-stuff to Old Gods without any worry.
Neither about them getting back divine power, nor about reusing these souls.

We have a way to get all the Intel, lore and knowledge of any given capture.

We have a Scythe, that DP ruled 100% working on any helpless opponent.
Like a sacrifice.

We have Lya's soul-drum, that we can use again and again and again even against most willful opponents until we get true answers from them.

We just need a way to extract souls from Scythe now, so that we can throw those into trash compactor Yss after we are done with them.

...And I can't find these artifacts on main page. Again.

This is a gift beyond his station, I do not mean that he doesn't deserve it but that it is not something that really benefits him.
We could send a gremlin in to investigate hm and tell him what he needs. Then we can drop off a pouch of silver along with discreetly healing anyone he cares about. Maybe another suitably fey-ish gift. I dunno, we'll figure it out.
What would you suggest? I thought nobles gaurds get payed pretty well...

Edit: wrong job.
Eh. They get paid. I wouldn't say it's the greatest pay, but it's pay.

That would probably take either IC research asking Bloodraven or both.

@DragonParadox, can we assume that the Ash Willows from the Plane of Fire were already tossed into the Fungus Forge? How long do we need to unlock Fire-Immune Weirwoods? Can we apply the immunity to already-existing weirwoods somehow once it's unlocked?
