Decent gear, but at the very least we can give them another PfE, some healing belts, and maybe a Greater Ribbon of Disguise or two?
I would prefer if they would swear to us first, of course.

I'd rather be more loosely connected, lest an enemy of Danar divine he is sworn to the Dragon King. I honestly think that when we take Westeros, he will happily slot into the inqusition easily enough, so we don't need to push.

Ooh, good thinking on Greater Ribbons of Disguise. God damn, it's painful to keep handing these out when our party still isn't fully equipped, but Bloodraven's agents deserve good gear.

Damn, they got to fight a medusa? I'm jealous, that would have been an amazing trophy.

Anyway... Healing Belt for both, PfE for Danar, Anklets of Translocation for both, and weapons of their choice of Admantine, Mithral, or Cold Iron (or all three if they need). But I'd personally set aside a Masterwork Razorsharp Adamantine Thinblade (+1) for Danar, and maybe a dagger of the same for Alyssa.

I want to give them Valyrian Steel at the earliest chance. It's good to be prepared ahead of time for the Others.
Why are you just giving her a dagger? She isn't some spellcaster or fearful maiden. She's a Ranger 13! She can wear armor and can fight in melee better than Danar!
Carting full plate armor around isn't great for her (unless we give her a bag of holding or something) but she could do with better than a dagger.

It's not that they did not collect skulls and just about everything else after their kills, but they generally sold or used everything rather than wander around with a wagon full of such remains.

@Duesal llllllll!

We tell them to keep any corpses they can get use out of, and we'll take them off their hands, and give them some sand so we can find out when to pick up. Oh, and naturally, we will dispose of their cursed shit that they stumble across.

Oh, my mistake. I somehow mistook her for a Rogue Variant when she's a Ranger Variant. Also, she's level 13. :p Thinblade for her?

Indeed. Such waste is a horrible crime.

Thinblade and shield, or greatsword.
If they want any better gear we should tell them to find us some valuable loot (Danar's got to have a spell to contact us at this point). We'll sell it next time we go off-plane and get them whatever gear they want. Seeing as they're our allies (and future underlings) we won't ask for a commission, just that they wait for a few days/weeks until Tyrene next goes there.
For example I'm sure that they could give us valuable devil corpses to sell and get Bags of Holding, Rings of Sustenance, an item of Status to watch their kid... All useful stuff for travelers and relatively cheap!

EDIT: And we should give them/sell them some alchemical items.

Preliminary plan. Would have posted sooner but I was stuck talking to a vendor rep. Will add gear when ImI back at home.

[X] Let's Do Both
-[X] Invite the three to join you in Sorcerer's Deep for a time
--[X] Offer them a place in Sorcerer's Deep. We will grant them land and fund construction of a suitable dwelling, if they wish to have a place of their own to call home. They can't raise their daughter on the road, after all, and Sorcerer's Deep would make a safe base from which to operate.
--[X] As allies against the many beings who prey upon humanity, we would like to provide them with some essential gear if they don't already have it (to be included when I get home).
---[X] Gear for Alyssa: 2,374 IM
----[X] Anklet of Translocation[84 IM]
----[X] Corpse-Ferrying Bag[300 IM]
----[X] Earring of Arcane Acuity[340 IM]
----[X] Greater Ribbon of Disguise[800 IM]
----[X] Healing Belt (+2 Constitution)[400 IM]
----[X] Razorsharp Masterwork Adamantine Dagger
----[X] Ring of Sustenance[150 IM]
----[X] +1 Adamantine Long Spear[200 IM]
----[X] +1 Mithral Chain Shirt[100 IM]
---[X] Gear for Danar: 3,331 IM
----[X] Amulet of Protection from Evil[400 IM]
----[X] Boots of the Wide Earth w/Anklet of Translocation effect[726 IM]
----[X] Earring of Arcane Acuity[340 IM]
----[X] Greater Ribbon of Disguise[800 IM]
----[X] Healing Belt (+2 Constitution)[400 IM]
----[X] Page of Spell Knowledge (Rope Trick)[240 IM]
----[X] Razorsharp Masterwork Adamantine Dagger
----[X] Ring of Sustenance (Slotless)[225 IM]
----[X] +1 Adamantine Hand Axe[200 IM]
-[X] Return to Lord Grafton as Dywen and report what you have found
--[X] Inform Grafton that his daughter would be willing to meet with him, not at home, unfortunately, but at a neutral location of her choosing. If he is willing, we can facilitate the meeting.

We should definitely give them a bag of magically-attuned obsidian sand no matter what. We're keeping in touch with them for sure.

I wonder if Bloodraven wouldn't mind us borrowing them from time to time.

@DragonParadox, can we get the Weirwood and Dragonglass Morningstar identified?

Also:

1. Can we use Tree Stride without needing sacrifices to ward off angry voices among the Old Gods now that we've given them an empowered angel of the Father?
2. What did Baelor's sacrifice go towards anyway? Did it empower the weapon or did it mainly go towards sating all the blood lust?
3. In Viserys' opinion are we making good progress in getting to the point where Lord Grafton sacrifices Corbray?

I think they might be offended with this bit, and refuse. And I don't want to push them away from their wanderings. They're a bit kow in number, but these two are full blown adventures. Well, except that they have a kid along.

Maybe when Danar hits level 5 spells so we can get boots of the wide earth for him.

Danar casts spells as a level 13 Bard, right? He has access to level 5 spells and can use boots of the wide earth. But we aren't crafting those for him unless he swears fealty ot pays for them in devil-corpses!

I don't think they'll be offended, but you're right in that there's a better way to word it...

@Goldfish, instead of:
--[] Offer them a place in Sorcerer's Deep. We can grant them land and fund construction of a suitable dwelling, if they wish to have a place of their own to call home. They can't raise their daughter on the road, after all, and Sorcerer's Deep would make a safe base from which to operate.

Maybe try:
--[] Offer them a place in Sorcerer's Deep. We can grant them land and fund construction of a comfortable dwelling that will serve as a home base to safely raise their daughter. While on the island they would be under our full protection and could rely on us to instantly respond to any threats. We don't expect them to stop their missions by any means, and can provide them with teleporting for deployment and retrieval, as well as additional support if necessary.

They can't raise their daughter on the road, after all, and Sorcerer's Deep would make a safe base from which to operate.

We can give them Good Gremlin minders! Either that or they would be able to choose from our vast array of fallen angels, sentient plants, bird-shaped fire spirits, snake people, fish people, and lastly Xor.

We can even give her a Fey puppy that would plan to outlive her to get more powerful.

Why would they be offended at having a safe place to rest, recuperate, and raise their daughter? They already know Westeros isn't safe and an infant is not the best traveling companion.

  1. Not yet but you are getting closer
  2. Mostly sating bloodlust
  3. He can't be sure until he talks to the man about his daughter

Because it would seem as if we think they aren't strong/ resourceful enough to take care of themselves and their daughter. I'm thinking they're pragmatic enough to see that we're offering this out of benevolence and not to demean their strength in any way but I can see how they could be offended.
