@Duesal, @Artemis1992 let's save a soul from burny, shall we? :)

Was it Dany or Marlays that rezzed him?

[] If he stats talking about how the Red God delivered him, tell him that we found Thoros in the dragon pit, our sister/retainer raised him, and to be honest, they both deserve someone nicer.

Honestly, I wanna see Thoros parrot scripture and say shit about god's being demons and stuff, and ask him if he has any idea of how much of an idiot that makes him sound. Well either an idiot or a disengenous fuck.
Just, for once, see how they respond to someone that knows that they talk shit, and knows that they know they talk shit.

@everyone, does anyone have any problems with us (as a minor action next turn) finding a mage among our Scholarum attendees, that is simply way too old and wouldn't mind being a first subject of an "experimenetal" ritual?
I want to have a starting point to have a clearly-immoral-but-way-too-cool-and-useful researches we can do with such technology magic.

EDIT: I'm talking about that ritual we traded from Red Priests.

I think you'll be disappointed. While Thoros is an idiot in that he'll literally charge to his death for what he feels is right, he's not that stupid. He's not a very preachy person to begin with, and he won't challenge us on this.

I've always been in support of offering options for our magelings. If a really old mage decides it's a good shot for him then he's free to pursue it. We'll even help fund the operation.

If burny is amsodeus, I'd like a careful look at that ritual first. It would probably have some clause that lets burny get a bit of a claim on them or something

I doubt it, severely, that Thoros would be so foolish as to call other gods demons infront of us, but I can absolutely see him claiming to the knight that it was the lord of light that placed us in this Knights path. That's what I wanna speak against if he tries to claim happened.

The actual calling a red priest on being a liar/idiot is a very undiplomatic action, that I want to do someday as an expression of my frustration with the whole situation involving burny's church someday, and is not what I'm going for here.
Though I do want the situation where that is the optimal course of action someday.

@DragonParadox Greater Black Tentacles only goes for structures and Evil creatures.
Greater Black Tentacles said:
Additionally, the tendrils created by this spell can detect evil auras, as if they had spent 3 rounds observing all creatures and objects within the spell's area using detect evil, and attack and impede the movement of only evil creatures, though they also attack any structures in their area.
On that note, it's a fantastic upgrade to Evard's.

Seriously though... the Pleasure Devil is living loot. Does anyone else want to turn him into something unique? A cloak out of him would be nice. Silver for Lya or Dany.

Crazy thought occurs: once we've cleared out the Wildlings, the giants, and any local flora or fauna we want samples of, should we start funding and providing ships to transport a R'hllorite crusade against the Others?

Also, do we have any contingencies for what to do if the drow figure out that magic is a thing again and start raiding the surface? At the very least we might want to check for any other entrances to the Underdark in the parts of the world we care about.

On a different subject, the next time we banish a devil of a circle other than the Third we really might want to give them a thank-you message to deliver to Mammon for both the new cloak and the poorly-worded agreement that prevents him from acting on Planetos while we're still alive. That should ensure that the other Lords of Hell know about his humiliation and try to take advantage of it.

*checks*

OK that is bizarre. It does not even have a good descriptor. In any case let's say they were confused by the lingering corruption around the knight.
That was actually why we wanted it in the first place. So long as Malarys and our Erinyes aren't in there, we could cast this right in the middle of a melee against Evil creatures and come out unscathed. :D

I hope the Pleasure Devil had the Metalclad template. Having a living example to study may be just what we need to learn how to replicate it.

Probably so, but it'd be thematic! Although Lya would arguably be equally appropriate. Whatever works best, I guess.
I'm mainly aiming for a matching set between Viserys and Lya.

Though it would certainly be nice if Mammon would send us a stronger devil made of silver to make a cloak out of. A Pleasure Devil simply isn't that impressive.

@DragonParadox, can we hope for Silver Cornugons one day?

Only neutered.
We have made commitments.
Disowned is enough, the old gods don't want the end of the blood lines, they want the end of the noble lines, they have no care for bastards of those lines, they are okay with women from the lines marrying out, as long as they take their husbands name, and they are okay with the men joining the Wall, they are probably okay with the men forswearing their family name and land as well.

As long as they aren't named Corbray, and don't rule in the Vale, the old gods will be satisfied.

I strongly prefer taking actions that increase Lya's survivability, so if we do make a cloak, one for her would be preferable. Really want to upgrade her robes to something better btw.
