@Goldfish is the one who literally went "we will kill them all anyway, as Dany is here".We can deal with this reasonably, please, and ransom the slaves. Perhaps for the devil bodies.
Shaitan slavery is much different than slavery practices on the Plane of Fire.Killing all the slavers you come across including your allies would be a bit of a consistency issue considering all the times you have worked with slavers including this very action which was given to you by the Shaitans.
Because:
Killing all the slavers you come across including your allies would be a bit of a consistency issue considering all the times you have worked with slavers including this very action
They got the info. We didn't. That's what they contribute.I think you should try. @Thread, we are expected to give up half the loot, as if one sixth level mage, a few high level warriors, a ship and a crew are in any way equivalent to Viserys, Dany, Richard, Tyene and Rina. What a joke.
Considering the new information, renegotiation seems fair. Any problems or opposing views you would like to spend time on?
Still, working with slavers is one thing, buying slaves another.Killing all the slavers you come across including your allies would be a bit of a consistency issue considering all the times you have worked with slavers including this very action which was given to you by the Shaitans.
We've painted ourselves into our corner.Because:
- leftover salt from yet another shitty deal being taken because the thread is entirely incapable of haggling
- salt over attempts to alter deals to fix the previous
- great salt over a Dogmatic Stupid slavery tangent
- tremendous salt over trying to murder our allies like a CE asshole
Props for staying in character for the Adult Red Dragon guise though.
Right now there is no killing them in my plan. That will be up to the voters later, if we don't want to ransom the slaves.@Goldfish is the one who literally went "we will kill them all anyway, as Dany is here".
I was more or less thinking of ransoming them when splitting the loot, yes.
So now, I've modified my plan as to renegotiate the split, so we can safely ramson the slaves.
Why wouldn't they?I think the problem stems from the fact that it's implied they aren't going to be willing to ransom the snek.
Still, working with slavers is one thing, buying slaves another.
And ransoming that one out would be exactly that.
So I'm, for once, with Goldfish on the murder-train.
Never pay for slaves.
Haggling wastes valuable OOC time and writing-space.- leftover salt from yet another shitty deal being taken because the thread is entirely incapable of haggling
Eh, it's mostly IC. I like occasionally having a point to stick to over pragmatism.
Yeah. No.We've painted ourselves into our corner.
So I'd rather try and renegotiate the deal so we can safely ramson slaves, which ends up with everyone happy at the end of the day, if not immediately, than anything.
The premisse of the deal has changed. We made a deal. Knowing whom we are dealing with. Lawful neutral???
He is literally voting "Abstain".
So we never planned to involve the party when we made the deal? I have missed that.
Why wouldn't they?
If they are on a rescue mission, there's no problem and they should be able to tell us once we make clear we are manumitting them.
Not on a number of occasions. You did buy slaves to free them on a number of occasions, including a bunch of architects from Tyrosh when SD was first renovated.
I expected them to be better than they are, and to not have a plan consisting of "you go and act as bait against an entire warship".So we never planned to involve the party when we made the deal? I have missed that.
And? Point stands.DP said that they might be on a rescue mission but said that it was more likely they were hired to grab the snake.
