@das_slash Sylvanas' atrocities seem inflated because of the shitty state Azeroth is already currently in after multiple Burning Legion incursions and all that other shit that went down.
So an entire city getting Exterminatus'd seems pretty far off the deep end compared to Arthas "what's my name again" Menethil, but it's comparatively small bananas.
I won't even be satisfied if her own Horde turns on her eventually. Everyone who follows her deserves this and more than what they get. It's the players who feel like they don't even have a place anymore in their own faction that matter. We're disenfranchised by the company we pay subscription fees to, bro!
I think i may have failed to communicate my opinion on the matter.
Sylvanas is a very small fry compared to Arthas, the amount of people arthas killed, and the atrocites he commited are at least one order of magnitude larger than hers.
Sylvanas: One city destroyed, one city laid siege to, a few towns exterminated, multiple allies betrayed (The Valarjar, The horde army), extreme measures taken agains dissidents (Undead who wanted to reuntie with their families, that Dk guy, koltiras?).
Arthas: Destroyed most of the human population of the northern kingdoms, sacked Dalaran, sacked Quel'thalas and turned the entire High elves population into refugees, culled the city of Stratholme, Destroyed the remains of the Nerubian empire (Ner'zhul began the work), destroyed most of the Drakkari empire, Turned most Vrykul into undead (willingly), murdered a bunch of dragons (all flights) and Frost giants, murdered his own father and sacificed his friend for power (an accident, he got better), turned against his allies and blamed them for his actions, turned his expedition into undead, etc etc.
As for Sylvanas, i just want her deposed as warchief, too many people are in love with her for her to become a raid boss, but hopefully we can kick her ass and get her back in line or something.
Edit: and the thing is, i love arthas, his actions make sense in his context, he is a villain, but he is a damn good villain and got his power because he is just that good.
The sylvanas thing is like if arthas returned and was like "Hey guys, i'm back, I'm human and i'm a king, that puts me in charge of the alliance, right?"
And everyone else was like "yeah, that makes sense"
"So i'm gonna start killing you guys now, and rising you as my slave army, just make a line"
And we were forced to go along with it.
Edit edit: Oh! you were talking about why xzzt... (sorry dude, i can't type your name) said that, reading comprehension fail on my part, it all makes sense now.
