It would but you would seriously have to watch out for leaking corruption. It would be sort of like a nuclear power plant, only with concentrated malice instead of radiation in case of a reactor breach.
First rule for it, it should not be anywhere near anywhere people live, preferably it should be placed in a particularly remote area of another plane, and preferably not a plane we have many allies on.

Nuclear leaks aren't near as big a deal if they happen in Molten Skies.

I believe blood quenching is at its more potent when the still hot sword is plunged directly into the still beating heart of the victim.
That seems more something for artifact-tier weapons like the Targaryen blades. I'm far more interested in setting up the means for mass-production. We can still catch the occasional fiend for a stronger weapon, but that's way less important than just getting the means to start churning the weapons out.
Thank you, did you consider Bloodbag Imp?

..one of natures greatest wonders.
Oh, that abomination is beautiful. @Azel, we must have it.

"Your grace, here is the latest creation of the Abyss."
"It looks like a butterfly. A cute butterfly. Let me guess - poison?"
"... no."
"Drains your life?"
"No, it ..."
"Then it telepathically whispers in your mind, spreading corruption?"
"No your grace, as far as we can detect it's - not evil."
"Not ... have you tried it in the factory?"
"Yes your Grace. It it - there was no product."
"NNNNOOOOOOOOO ...."

To be broken, a tie?

[X] The Queen Rhaella, awakening the ship to life.

[:\/] Relocate the Singers to crew the Queen Rhaella, and place soil and trees on her abovedecks. The fey court shall be mobile!

Fiend blood factory seems like a very dangerous idea.

Especially when we do not even have the good outsider/Old God's method of mass producing magic items.

I would rather investigate alternative energy sources first is what I am saying.

@das_slash The Awakened Doomship would most certainly not be obsolete.

Your argument could easily be made to extend to all of SD. We can create Demiplanes now at will, and Lya can cast Mage's Magnificent Mansion. Why then do we need an expensive, vulnerable kingdom when we could just live out of easily defensible pocket dimensions and raider the surrounding Planes for treasure?

The point of the Awakened Doomship isn't for us to use it as our personal transport. It would be a mobile base of operations, the home of a potential Fey Court, it could go on adventures, house baby adventurers, project power in a very tangible manner easily understood by everyone on Planetos, transport huge amounts of cargo without our direct involvement, etc.

Alright, this is getting crazy.
@DragonParadox any way we can get, like, a cutting to plant into the ship, or get a new seed by old god intervention? The vote is very contested, but at the end of the day, there is no reason why we cant have both. Maybe we could learn how to make dryad seeds in the forge if we plant it by the Dawn tree?

The very idea of sending people on a ship would fill rivers of salt, since it would cut into our work days.
The kingdom is actually producing things for us, as would a forest, by its nature, a ship needs to be going somewhere.

Remember how we had to let the archons take Mantarys because we didn't have a way to project force and put boots in the ground? Like, say, a giant magical ship.
