--[X] Ask for permission to grow another one on the Isle of Gods and to set up a shrine for Yss there.

We've asked permission for a small Yss' temple on our last visit and he says he can't ban us even if he doesn't want to, so long as the strictures doesn't go against the laws of Braavos. So no blood magic.

We should set it as a temple/Silver Serpent branch. Proper blood sacrifice can be made with the temple proper in SD, and minor sacrifice only for this branch.

As for a Heart Tree, I wonder how will the Gelenei worshippers think about it.

Let's ask permission if we can find some Yss' artifacts in the Holy Refuge instead.

--[X] We are planning to build a series of roads and bridges to link the Stepstones and Tyrosh. After some 'reasonable readjustments' to the political landscape, we could expand it towards Braavos.
Nearly forgot to add this.

Good to know. Axed the question.

We should inquire into the matter that was set in motion several months back. It was intended to smoke out dissenters and possible traitors in Braavos, IIRC?
That should be automatic. We've already talked about using the former Archon of Tyrosh as bait for that trap.

@Azel We should set up schooling in Westeros to train Westerosi clerks, rather than have Braavos shoulder more than the Essosi conquests. We can even have men from different regions administrate in other ones, to further add division and complexity to the network, then shift over some Braavosi trained clerks in higher positions once the bones and meat are filled out. Then any complicity in subversion on a local level can be rooted out without worry.

Definitely, but we can hardly do so now. The end goal is to have clerks taught everywhere, give them some finishing and language courses in SD (said finishing including a good cranial scrubbing) and then scatter them all over the Empire.

My preferred scenario is every major city having clerks from every corner of Westeros and Essos. Getting the population used to mobility is a great way to amalgamate the cultures.

No human blood magic at least, I doubt Bravos law extend to forbidding the sacrifice of animals, they have probably been extended to apply to Fey and other non-human sapiens, but I doubt they forbid sacrificing animals, which mean Yss temple in Bravos can actually become a source of minor boons, Yss do take animal sacrifice after all, he don't pay that much for it, but he always pay his debt, so in the long run there might be sacrificed a bunch of animals, street kids might capture rats to sacrifice for minor boons, and Yss will grant what the rat is worth, because such is Yss nature.

If this is true, we should open one as soon as possible. Do we even have someone who could serve as priest? Do we know the way Yss would recognize the sacrifices when he is not physically present? Hopefully we will know and be able to do more after Sothoryos. How soon next turn is that going to be? I hope it is in the earlier parts of the month...I have a feeling we will get a lot of new options for doing all sorts of things once we start (finally) on that quest.

@Azel, we should also ask for the right to outright buy their magical contraband if we find it interesting. I wouldn't mind growing their weirwood tree with our Daemon Bows (+1) if the contraband they've got in stock is neat.

So are we just ceding all of Pentos to Braavos in exchange for expertise?

Meant to post this a while ago, before the start of this turn. This was an idea of introducing some new economic field in Tyrosh after the slave trade was banned, although it will work in a large part of Disputed Lands too. It's only really feasible with the construction of cargo ships that Azel's planning, cause you need to be able to ship goods in bulk.

So, the idea is to upscale our purification barrels to standard containers, and use them to ship fresh fruits to colder regions. Pears, peaches, melons, watermelons, plums, etc. Whatever is available. It wasn't really done until modern times on Earth, and right now on Planetos options should be mostly limited to dried (not many fruits are good in this form), honeyed fruits or, probably very rare, preserved on ice, so very expensive and limited to higher nobility or very wealthy merchants?.. With large scale trade it would be possible to reach at least the "middle class", I hope.

It will require to establish far more extensive gardens/plantations, and even with the help of magic it still needs a lot of workforce. What do you think about this idea?

Unfortunately the limiting factor is our crafters. We currently have a grand total of four who are busy with adventurer gear and major infrastructure.

It's not a short term plan. As I said, it needs that steel ships that Azel has proposed, so containers can certainly wait until then. But work on gardens and plantations would need to be started soon, if we go with it.

Braavos was always going to be the capital of Northwest Essos anyway, nothing wrong with putting a little more on their plate early on.

Feeding your vassals, a great way to prevent overextension.

Still, things might change when they finally move because that will take months. When they take Pentos we should be in an even stronger position.

When the conquest of Pentos comes I want to offer up every last one of the magelings for the battle. Any chance to get XP we should be pouncing on.

If Braavos wants Pentos then they need to agree to certain standards, I'm not on board with even assisting an invasion that may tarnish our good conquering name.

We want people to look forward to us coming.

Conquering over in one day, food security, residential re-build, no pillaging etc.

If they can manage it, great, if not maybe they shouldn't have it.
