[X] "you are Awesome! This can't be maintained indefinitely, but how may I assist in your transition? Clerics of ideal of personal excellence sound like it would be achievable, but, I need to ask first, what did your progenitor consider to be the mistakes of his culture, my lady?"

Mage was a man, you not sure if the construct identifies as gendered.

Faceless'd

I think this trio's thing is more of a philosophy than a religion. But now that magical back, a god might actually be born. I'm pretty sure that with enough worship gods can be created.

ok.. this might sound racist, but should we ask him about the artificer? sentient constructs stick together right?
If he has the memories of his creator, then he also knows his craft, he could help us restore him.

Who knew, turns out we actually are this lucky. We're totally getting some of this people to help with our education system since apparently that's the whole thing this construct was created to do.

The real question is whether they'd be willing to transition outside the mystery cult format into something more suited for actually diffusing the knowledge they have. Being told we'll explicitly back this should help, they probably adopted secrecy to avoid persecution anyways.

This is f****** fantastic. No actual God, just an image meant to be aspired to, whoever said this was basically Buddhism was right.

[X] Plan Recruitment
-[X] Turn back to the mural and calmly continue your discussion.
-[X] "It is sad to know that only the trappings of religion could make men listen to wise counsel."
-[X] "May I call you Messenger then?"
-[X] "Your goals are noble indeed and gladly would I make common cause with you, though my dealings with the divine make it difficult to support the means you took."
-[X] "What have you heard about Sorcerers Deep and its inhabitants?" Set the record straight if necessary.
-[X] "This world has languished far too long under the yoke of petty cruelty and avarice, yet I have seen even the basest wretch reach the greatest heights if given nothing more then purpose and guidance."
-[X] "We share a goal there [INSERT PREFFERED NAME]. I seek the knowledge of old, to mend the scars left by the Freeholds folly. I have not come to this city to pillage it for my ends and abandon it when it's served it's purpose. I think we can aid each other greatly."
-[X] If he is unsure, offer him to visit SD to see for himself what we want to create.
-[X] "On matters closer at hand..."
--[X] Temple guard of Trios will be reduced to 120, just like that of Burny. You are always in need of men of skill and good character, so you will gladly recruit any who wish into the Legion, Lawmen or Administration if they have the aptitude. This city needs order and law in the coming transition.
--[X] You've contemplated what to do with the statue he once gifted Tyroshs Archon. If he wants, it can be returned to his temple, otherwise you would sell it off whole or in parts to finance the coming reconstruction of the slums and the transition to a non-slavery society.

Maybe that's a bad way of saying it. It's its job to keep these remnants after all.
More focus on keeping or rediscovering the good parts, without repeating most of the mistakes.

He just said he needs no name?
Fixed the first and clarified the second. I don't want to rain on his gravitas, but unless he provides us with something to call him by, he us Waxy until further notice.

I'm fine with this.
Without the undetectable communication and unpreventable empowerment handled by an actual god these will be relativly harmless.

I'm fine with Waxy. Or Candleman.

Frankly, I want to sit down with him, swap notes and then finally write that political manifesto.

He clearly has no love for gods, so he should be pretty happy at the chance to refine his teachings into a fully secular ideology.

@Azel maybe mention that in this age of resurging sorcery, that the chances of their (reasonable) deception being unvieled by some enemy or well meaning meddler are rising, it may be better to find a way to release the truth on their own terms first, and if he could mention any timelines for that to local administrators to prevent upheavals hunting the populace.

That said, there is a very important piece: what, from it's perspective were the mistakes of Valeria?

Valyrian Buddhism!

That means more dragons and aspiring to Draconic Ascension as well as a spiritual one. It's basically a religion dedicated to teaching it's followers how to achieve what we have planned for Viserys and Danny.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to do the next part justice this late, but once you guys are done with the current vote, a level up for Maelor would not go amiss, he once more leached XP off those with more levels than him, though at this rate he will not be able to do so for much longer.

I'm taking everything back. This guy and his entire religion is amazing.

While it's built entirely upon a lie, it's purpose is pure and noble. To aid mortals to find purpose and validation in their seemingly flawed existence, and to carry on the knowledge learned from the mistakes of the past.

I want temples in every single of our cities.

Is it not obvious? They focused too much on the flesh, fleshforges on every Major city, new Cat Girl models released each year, while the true men of culture had to hide and work in secret, excluded from the main centers of learning.
Only his creator and his fellows dared to follow the true path, the tech tree leading to sex robots.
