Can't we have Amrelath do a high-altitude flyover?
Stay well out of Dispel Magic range, and breathe fire every so often.

Done. Keep in mind that they have 2 Teleporters (Tyene and Lya).
Yes, it's just that they don't know the cities yet, so they'd have to get there once on a normal way.

Dany could take someone, or two someones, over there as dragon and then they can port the rest after, or something like that?
I'm honestly not sure how large the Tyroshi part of the Disputed Lands is, but I doubt every city is in sight of the next one.

No need to nudge. At least one of them will try anyway.
Or somebody sends an army to conquer them, thinking us unable to project any force on the mainland.

Or some sell-sword companies will try to take one of the cities for themselves.

You've seen the quality of the magisters in these parts. Do you honestly think that nobody on the mainland will try something stupid over the next month?
Alright, fingers crossed.

That decreases the chance of the cities trying to break away. It might even outright eliminate it. People are far less willing to face a dragon.

I've intended for Lya and Dany to fly on their own and Tyene and Waymar to ride the Air-Griffons.
Spelled it out in the vote.

Also switched to Amrelath fly-bys.

Have someone use divination to find out which of our smaller cities tries some shit, and how they do so. Then we'll know where to have our Dothraki gather.

[X] Azel

@Azel Lya should go with Viserys and Richard. Tyene can do the Teleporting for her group. She could take Maelor or Rina with her, too.

And in the unlikely case that no one try to turn coat, we can always let our Dothraki take one of the other Free cities subordinate cities, that's the norm in the Disputed lands, that's the whole reason they are called as such.

I wonder the ratio of pleased and annoyed Amy is at when he receives orders like "go there and look menacing".

His fly-bys should be very effective, especially due the fear aura. Just pass a hundred feet over the battlements to send everyone crying and jumping.

Is there any plan if/when the flybys by Amrelath are too effective? We promised the Dothraki a proper fight, and this aggressive intimidation might just rob us of that and force us to look elsewhere.

They are called the Disputed lands for a reason, the lesser cities out there change hands all the time, if Amrelath should manage to scare all currently Tyroshi held cities into compliance, we will just follow the ancient traditions of the place, and conquer one of the ones currently sworn to Myr or Lys.

Conquering an extra city or two also sends the right message "Tyrosh grew more powerful with our conquest, not less".
I would suggest a Myrish city instead of a random one, the better to keep the magisters of Lys pleased with our "deal".

That makes Myr too nervous and might end up driving them to Volantis.

There's a reason we're not making any overt moves for a while. We need to train the Legion as fast as possible, and then when that's ready we can take Myr and Lys at the same time.

If we don't get one Tyroshi city to try to break away from us, that's it. There goes the chance.

If anything it would calm them down, they know how to deal with the back and forth in the Disputed lands, the fact that we play that game instead of attacking them out of nowhere, would make us a known threat, the Disputed lands has been fought over and changed hands for centuries, it wont scare them that we get in on the game now that we rule Tyrosh.

But is that a bad thing? I know the thread doesnt like having allies (i believe the draconic Word for Ally means "not servant i am planning to murder later"), but negotiating with Zhaerys to "back Up" Myr right until we are ready to take them in exchange for a portion of the disputed lands sound reasonable.
With our improved agricultural techniques we wont need as much land, and we plan to incorporate Volantis later anyway.
